I'll be using Cobra in Trail Mountain.
:)

I have planned ahead a little bit for the comfort club.

The 'American 550pp seasonal race' and 'Ferrari at Sierra' race will be
held this Tuesday as scheduled.

For next Tuesday (Aug. 4th) buybon's Lotus Carlton and the Red Bull jr.
will be used for two races at Apricot Hill using IfAndOr's weather / time / race settings.

Tuesday (Aug. 11th) will see the Hyundai Click Type-R '04 and bergele's BMW Z8 '01 be used
for two races.

Tuesday (Aug. 18th) will see the first race set up for;
Italy vs. United Kingdom - 1997-2000

Use the Car Search feature in the game (below Vision GT) and you will find;
-10 Italian cars
-19 U.K. cars
made between 1997-2000.

Choose any of these cars and tune it for 450pp on Comfort Soft tyres.

Race #2
Ayrton Senna's F3 one-make race on Comfort Soft tyres.

^ Additional information on these races will be added later.

I have also revived two old threads today;

carnival like shenanigans
What a great phrase. :D

Actually the Cobra may not have been the easiest of beasts to tame. It does, much like its namesake, like to give you a nasty bite when provoced. I expect to see some shenanigans - possibly from myself. :)

Maybe see you another time when the cars are a bit "tamer".

I'll have to give these a try because they might affect my settings. And also the lights, since it does eventually go dark during the evening race. I see the RB Jr has lights!

Lotus tuned and RB untuned?

I tried to tame the Cobra but in the end best tune was the Stock tune. Weight down then fixed weight ratio slightly to get to the PP Limit, no power parts. 100% Limiter. I might have fiddled with the gears. At lower rpm it is slightly more easy to handle. I did not see much difference with the LSD settings so I believe those are stock as well.

I will drive the Cobra as well 👍

Hey guys, I briefly joined @Zolon32 's TT room yesterday when he was going on his testing frenzy...:lol:
And we reached the same conclusion on the Ford GT40 Mark I '66 being in a league of its own. There is no other car within the regs that can compete with it. This race will end having a multi-class feel if the Mark I is kept eligible.
The GT40s will fight upfront and the muscle cars at the back.
A solution could be to force The FR drivetrain layout in the regulations.

How about 2 races? One with GT40 only and another with the muscle cars? I'd love to race both GT40 and the Cobra tonight :drool:

All I know is that I'll be driving the Firebird 'KIT' Trans Am. : )

I feel it's too late to change anything for race #1 at the mountain, but since the second race at Sierra won't have any qualifying that race will be finished in only ~18 minutes.

After that we can do another race with your ideas, guys. To save time we can omit qualifying.

Cool. So first race is as before and last race will be GT40 only with same specs, right? Orr... first race as before and third bonus race will be Seasonal Spec other than GT40 ? (FR) :)

edit: any case I would be happy to drive both Cobra and GT40... now I am just repeating myself :dopey:

That's great news for the ones who put some time into tuning the GT40 :mad::dopey:
As for the alleged advantage, then the same can be said about wheel users over pad users, even more when using stock machine. Shall all wheel users switch back to DS3 controllers to be fair for all those who don't own fancy steering wheels?
So my point is go tuning:D:gtpflag:

I want a fancy DS3!

I do own a diamond encrusted gold plated steering wheel, but I don't see it as fancy. :D ;)
I take it that's you?

Or it feels that way, driving these cars on Comforts!

You speak "Northern" really well! 👍

The d-pad on the wrong side would rule that one out for me.

I'm sticking with my Mach 1. I still can't afford the GT40. I'm down to 2.5 million now and I need to spend 400,000 a week restoring the rigidity on the HSV for my Monday series. Those quick matches are hell to go through. It's like Mario kart with GT physics, aka without the fun.
