@ANFD, and @ItsAllAboutWins, please settle down. Despite your views, it's quite obvious that the rule of two tires on the pavement still stands. However, to answer the question in my opinion, if you go off track, but neither you or someone else in a battle of position gain any time or ground, as long as there is no contact, you're okay.
