Hill bend is not as tight, and the entire run from Hawthorne to Stirling are longer corners, meaning that when they changed it, I think they moved the track to the inside and farther away from the outside barriers.
My entire install took only about 30 Min. from start to finish with a cat 6 Ethernet cable.

According to the PS3, it would only have taken 2 and a half hours, but an hour and a half after I started the download I found that for whatever reason an error had occurred and stopped downloading. Thanks for the info about Brands. In the pictures people have posted it didn't look too different.
 
I'll never forget the 1993 F1 Italian GP. I used to get up early in the morning to watch those on ESPN.
They were still using the 80's track configuration, and it was Mike Andretti's last race in the McLaren.
He had an early misfortune at the start and came from the back of the order all the way up to 4th by the end of the race... And the pass he made on Alesi entering Paribolica for 3rd place was absolutely epic.
Getting on the podium after being informed he was being replaced by another driver due to poor performances.
Unfortunately, I looked for a video of it on YouTube and didn't find anything..

Season reviews of pretty much anything on DVD can be found at Amazon.
I have around 15 or so of those for MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, and AMA Pro.. Maybe I'll get the F1 1993..
Those were some good years to watch..
 
My download is taking it's grand old time. Hopefully it finishes before I have to open up the room for FLEX around 9. If not, someone else may need to host FLEX tonight.
 
I done the Senna stuff last night. Marvelous work. That Lotus is a handful though. Also played with the Mitsubishi TT.. took me forever to beat Randy and Bionics time, but when I did, i beat it by 2 seconds :D was good for 48th at the time
 
That final TT for the Lotus gave me a hard time.
Finally got 1:09.905 using DS3.
Might not sound like much, but I wasn't sure if I could even do it at first.

Actually the radius of the corners seems the same to me now, but they are closer to the outside barriers.
It's hard to explain how it's different back there in that section, but it is different.

It was danged difficult with the controller, and couldn't get close with any level of TCS.
Had to short shift to a higher gear most of the time, and the turbo lag was annoying..

Probably not going to be around tonight. Going to a drive-in to watch Neighbors and A Millon Ways To Die In The West.
 
Apologies to the two white cars I nailed in lap 1 (have not seen replay) I totally screwed up missed brake point plus draft. I tried like hell to miss you guys. That is not normally how I race. Me=:dunce:
 
I'd better apologize for causing some carnage at the start of the second race. We used the grid start with false start check. Five red lights and I let go of brake as soon as the fifth light came on. Forgot they added that new delay a few updates ago. Anyway, I was on the front row, so ended up catching a few people out.

Still couldn't see DolphDrago. He is sort of becoming a mythical creature that I always hear about but never quite see.
