Tomorrows my Bday I finally had all the $ today and have ordered my brand new straight out of the box G27 
. Had to back order from Amazon but at least I got free shipping should be here by the 16th. Can any of you give me some hints on what to expect or look for from receiving the package & setting up all the way to using it I'm totally green on this haven't ever used anything except a controller for any game took a lot for me to accept the fact that peripherals like racing wheels have come a long way & this is an investment in my time spent racing.

Well, don't put FFB on 10 unless you really want it to fight you, and if you want to use the gearstick for fun, start in something slow on a small track like Tsukuba, but Monza is also a good idea to get used to hard braking. Spend a lot of time at the Nurb when you switch to faster cars. A track with over 100 corners helps.
