I will have the room open at 9, but I may be away from my console so if im not answering that is what is going on. I will be back at my console just before 10 if anyone has questions.

I hope these races go well. I just hope I don't fall asleep on the wheel. Woke up at 6 in the morning. At 9 I had a bowling torne. that lasted till 4 in the evening. Took me till 530 to get home. Had to take the dogs out. Ate dinner and checked on GTP as always. So now I wait for the D2 room to open and while I do, been testing cars (and buying cars as always. Wasteful way of spending money). So heads up if I happen to go in the dirt all of a sudden. BTW, @Ph1sher, are you running in your race?

Up since 345 am 3 hours behind the wheel on an airport run then 8 on my feet...dont like my chances

I'm having a very rough time with my new wheel. I'd chalked it up to the fact that in all my 38yrs of gaming (1st console/Atari 2600/8yrs old) I've never ever played with anything other than a controller. It was simply against my religion, but with the advances in technology and hearing the voices of so many satisfied racers I decided to buy in. Seriously though! There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Each time I get into a different vehicle its a different experience some cars I can get the hang of after a lap or two others I simply cannot drive. Is this how its suppose to be, it certainly wasn't with my DS3? If any other wheel users have any words of advice or could link me to a related thread that I haven't found it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks @Ph1sher I'll keep at it. My biggest problem is the high speed instability. It comes on so quickly when I let off the throttle that theirs virtually no time to correct & after she starts to swerve to & fro its all over

we'll see if you still like your cars, "a little lucy" as you said before.

Sorry for the start of race 1 in D1. Qualifying was fine, managed a 2nd row start and everything felt good, then once the race started nothing worked on my wheel. The pedals were dead, the wheel had no resistance whatsoever and none of the buttons worked. It still had power so I'm not sure what the deal is.
