No need for the apology, I wasn't being serious. Between me being away for the 1st round and might as well have been away last week and you missing the middle 2 races it seems Dog in Heat Racing is not destined for great things. Maybe it was the team name......you know what happens to dogs in heat!

I heard 1:25s were good laps. It will depend on who and how many go to KOQ as to what times will get you to the main though.

The below listed drivers (not listed in Bold) need to confirm their intent to race tomorrow at Twin Ring Motegi East Circuit by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern on TOMORROW) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

I wish I had a partner in crime, but the way my work schedule is I'm not sure if I have the time to create a team for these events. Hopefully I will make every event this season and see where I stand before creating a team.
 
Well I will be MIA until Saturday. (Gotta go to scout camp) so try not to blow up the thread:sly:

It was looking that way until about 10 minutes ago now I'm on the road!! I have no idea how long I will be but I will do my best to get back so I can attempt the double..! :we shall see!!? actually better that I got called in now then later!!

Something has just come up and there's a possibility I won't be able to race tonight. I'll try to confirm in about an hour but if you don't hear from me by 8pm give someone the slot.

I will be very disappointed if I can't make it as my practice pace and fuel strategy were looking pretty decent.

Thanks for the heads up. I will open the lobby in about 20 mins. If you dont post by then that you are confirmed, I will open the spot to KOQ.

Knock-out Qualifying Lobby is now open - 1472-4711-0167-3383-1313​

Ten positions are up for grabs in tonight's Knockout Qualifying session. Top 10 lap times from tonight's Knock-out qualifying will advance to the Main Event. As a reminder, top ten drivers please do not enter the lobby until knockout qualifying is complete at around 8:45 eastern. I will update the thread and lobby title once we are finished with qualifying.

Thanks everyone for coming out tonight. Looks like there were some great battles out there. I'll have the unofficial results posted tomorrow sometime and the top 10 had some significant changes this week.
 
Would anyone care to help try to figure out why I was hit with false start penalties, both races? I had my foot on the brake, as the last red light came up, the motor died, the green lights came up and I was left as a stationary roadblock. I'd like to find out if it was me, the game being goofy or maybe just lag.

Great racing last night; one off was the difference between 4th and 10th in the first race, though it was a huge spin that caused undue wear to my tires. Second race I spaced and rammed Jay through Coach in the pits (please note I don't think that was particularly "great racing" on my part). Really tight, close racing though.

You are keeping your foot on the brake until it says "Start" and the lights all go out, correct? Depending on how soon you jump the start could impact the severity of the false start. That is the first time hearing the engine shutting off though.
