Would love to join you boys but off to a private screening of Gone Girl at Skywalker Ranch:)

Looks like the camaro won the night. Although the ZR1 Corvette is very fun to drive. The Challenger is very competitive and the Mustang Cobra is not bad.

Oh yea, that too. DTC is now 9:30pm EDT/6:30pm PDT.

And my track pick is drop Monaco from Group C and add Tskuba Diver.

Testing:
FF - Civic Type R RM '97 462pp
4WD - WRX Sedan STi '10 472pp
FR - FT-86 G Sports Concept '10 483pp
MR - NSX '01 457pp

OK gentlemen. For everyone interested, I will be hosting a race on Thursday 10/9. I would like to start it at 9:30/6:30 like DTC but if @jobyone can make it by pushing it later then I will do that. I have two goals for this race: close racing and to make sure Joby is there. All the cars for the races are within a second or two per lap in performance to each other with PP values listed only for reference (and they include oil change).

The format will be three 30 minute races with one mandatory pit stop. The first race will be at Suzuka (in honor of tomorrow's F1 race) with qualifying and fastest first. The other two races will be reverse grid. All races will use our normal DTC room settings and as usual, tuning is prohibited aside from oil change.

First Race: Suzuka Stars GT300
Track - Suzuka (No Weather)
Tires - Racing Hard
Tire Wear - Fast
Race Time - 30 minutes
Pit Stop - 1 mandatory
Grid Order - Fastest first based on Qualifying

Eligible Cars:

If you plan to race, please pick one of these cars, paint it, number it and start practicing at Suzuka!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

For the 2nd and 3rd races I have a list of eligible cars for each race below but here is the catch; for these last two races, each car can only be used once and the draft order will be reverse position based on this past Tuesday's DTC results. Any new drivers for 10/9 will pick after those who raced on 9/30. In other words, this would be the car draft order for the last two races should everyone race again:

1. @Schmiggz - 42
2. @tezgm99 - 46
3. @Matt Sierras - 49
4. @JoeW - 53
5. 88GTA - 54
6. @kendawg - 56
7. @Kgffy - 60 (pole)
8+. Drivers who did not race 9/30, in order of sign-up

Second Race: Trans Am Series 1971
Track - Laguna Seca
Tires - Comfort Soft
Tire Wear - Normal
Race Time - 30 minutes
Pit Stop - 1 mandatory
Grid Order - Reverse grid based on Race 1

Eligible Cars:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third Race: Brands Hatch 1989

Track - Brands Hatch '80s
Tires - Sports Hard
Tire Wear - Fast
Race Time - 30 minutes
Pit Stop - 1 mandatory
Grid Order - Reverse grid based on Race 2

Eligible Cars:

If you are interested in racing, please post in the thread with your GT300 pick. Once we know who plans to race, I will make the official car draft order and we can see who gets which car for the 2nd and 3rd races.

I believe Thursday this week is out for me. We're trying to get some night flow analysis done of the water system now that irrigation season is over and Thursday is pencilled in as the night to do that so I'll be at work all night from what I understand.

Believe it or not the Schedule post and spreadsheet have been updated. I will try to make some of the racing thursday. It will likely only be the last hour.

If I do make race one I would like to be in the Impreza:)

@88GTA is there only 6 cars for the first race?
There are only 5 Base Model GT300 cars so you can pick any car you want for the first race. I'm allowing duplicates for that reason and because we can change numbers and colors for some variety.
@88GTA,

I wonder if it is worth posting about the event in the single race/event section

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/gt6-single-races/
I will put one up once I get a chance. What time to start would be best for you?

I picked mine already (it's above Joe's). You and Ken should just make one anyway.
I have updated the tracks. Should I be expecting any other changes?

As to thursday. I will get home at 7pst/10E and will eat and try to be on for 7:30/10:30. Don't wait for me I will join in where ever you guys are.

Hey guys I'm going to have to push the racing planned for this Thursday to next week (lucky you Tez). A lot of stuff popping up for me this week.

I'll post an official thread in the spot races section to get some interest. See you guys on track tonight.

FF - Megane Trophy '11 447pp
4WD - Skyline GT-R V Spec II N1 '00 474pp
FR - Opera S2000 '04 484pp
MR - NSX-R Concept '01 470pp

You'll be over by a million points, koszak....I'll make sure Joe knows the NSX-R Concept is the biggest cheater car out there and should be a higher PP than the X2010's :sly:

Hey guys I should be online about 6p/9e. Will probably not me able to race but wil be able to practice if anyone else is around.
