I hope you all had some good racing. A question for you guys. How do you like the new track selection list? Is it better or worse than the original line up?

Racing was good, I locked up last as usual. I screwed up and ran my '96 VR-4 in the last race and I was supposed to run my '02 STi, oh well.

Tracks seem ok. There's a fast track in each group which helps.

We ran Tokyo, then Fuji GT, then SSR5 and then grand valley east.

Last Night Made Up For My Bad Saturday Night. I Like The Format. The Winner Can Pick The Next Pp Or Qualifying Track Is Good. And When Picking The Qualifying Track You Can Choose Any Track. Format Works Good.

No problems. Now that the track groups are so varied (ie...Group A, B and C have a mix of courses so you can't say one group is all short tight courses) it probably wouldn't hurt to throw another track in each group. Like Spa, Rome and Motegi (or any popular 3 tracks). Tsukuba was fun too.

Love the format...we were all discussing last night how this is the best SNAIL series going!

You can choose your own cars without winning a race.
Tracks can vary greatly.
Racecraft is top notch...better than a certain other SNAIL series due to longer races and less urgency to win on the first lap.
Only one qualifying session.

AND we are cool dudes! No stuffy guy yelling at everyone to shut off their mics. We drink and drive and still have race long battles. The atmosphere is just so much better than anything else. No stress...just cool as the other side of the pillow.

Those pictures look great! Sorry I missed the last two races as they are some of my favorite tracks. Smiggy, I had some great racing with you at Fugi in our super lights. To bad for the understeer into a penalty situation we had. lol

One request. I would love to update the 1st post with a pic that has as many different cars in one shot. I like the one we have now but it has been there a while. If any of you photographers would like to try to capture one like that over the next few weeks that would be awesome.

Lastly I am trying to gauge how many people are planning on Racing Saturday. Can you let me know if you think you will be there?

We're hoping to get more guys in Cap racing. We were trying to figure out why people don't race this. It is the best thing going in Snail.

sometimes the formula gets messed up or the drivers name is not as it is on the drivers data sheet. I will try to make the drivers column selectable

well I should be back soon. I am also hoping to get a few friends I know to join. One of them is a GT n00b but we should be able to teach him the correct way to race online.
