Joby...if I had more time between races I would enter the cars used. If I just typed the basic car used on the spreadsheet (ie...Civic instead of Honda civic type r (eu,EP) '01) for each race you would be able to extrapolate from the car lists posted on the forum. Maybe I'll do that in the future.

I just don't have time to type full descriptions. Also, you had several names pre listed on the spreadsheet that I have never seen race with us.
Joe,

I have updated the spreadsheet. If you start to type in the car fieled it will give you a list to choose from. This works on computers. On the ipad if you just put in as much of the car name as you can I should be able to figure it out afterwards.

Have a look when you can and see if that will be helpful.

So the overall winner is Kendawg:bowdown: You can choose either the qualifying track or a new PP. The PP can be between 1400-2000 but should be at least 100 away from 1720.

Second place is currently unofficial while we sort out some PP desrepencies - You will be able to choose either the PP or Track depending on Kendawgs choice.

Lets get into some sport mediums. The pp for Saturday May 4 will be...1820

Cool. As Kendwag mentioned this means the tire limitation will be Sports Medium. Feel free to run Sports hards if you are worried you are to fast:)

As for second Place I am going to go ahead and make it official and Give it to Starvsnr. You can choose the qualifying track for the next Saturday race.

Joe I know there was no intent to use the wrong PP for the race but since the Spreadsheet had the correct value I am going to let the adjustment stand.

All cars PP must be between 387 and 523. With that in mind we could really do with filling in some of the missing PP values for the higher PP cars. Could everyone try to find 10-15 minutes to check some values and post them on the thread?

Thanks Guys. I am hoping that I will be back on track with you towards the end of May. I miss racing. And choosing cars:)

MONDAY INFO.

FF: Civic type r 396PP
4wd: 205t 414pp
MR: Renault sport lutecia '01 441PP
FR: rx8 concept ii '01 454pp

1705pp

My track choice is...

Tokyo R246

Should be plenty of room here for low pp cars. I was going to say Spa or Motegi but they get picked alot so let's shake it up a bit.

Any way we could narrow down the PP ranges a bit? Just a few percentage points would keep the PP range of the cars on the track at any given time a little closer.

Also...I'm all for the top guys taking maybe a 2% PP penalty on the next race. Maybe the top few finishers could take the penalty, cumulatively applied each week until they no longer finish in the top few? Not sure the best way...but it might make for closer racing and it may be less intimidating for some people when they see all the D1 guys racing here. Or instead of it being a "enforced" thing, all the fast guys could volunteer to do something along those lines to make for closer racing?

Just thinking...

I would if everyone else would. not sure what to do? 💡

Maybe drop our pp cap down 5pp or so. This would be a good idea for the top 2 finishers. They would be handicap the next round.

I was just thinking about how a very few people have left early due to poor finishes.

I'm happy with the racing, the competition, the closeness of the battles (whether for the lead or for 6th) so I'm good. But I have no problem with all us D1 guys taking off some PP from our total (2% of 1600pp would be 32PP....2% of 1800PP would be 36PP etc). It ain't much in the grand scheme...might help, might not. I'm happy either way.

I was thinking kinda the opposite. What if we did it more like golf and gave the slow guys a boost. I will need to crunch the numbers but I am thinking what if we had say 4 levels of handicap. The levels could be based on how many points behind the leaders you finished. This would be say an average of the last 4 races so if you improve your handicap lessons.

I do feel the best thing we can do to increase the battles is to get more people racing. You will have a much better chance of racing with someone in a field of 12-15 racers than with 8-10. So how can we find more capers?

As far as tightening up the upper and lower PP I actually like the range as it is. The narrower it is the less cars we have access to cars and I feel we will end up with more similar line ups.

Just wanted to pop in and thank you guys for letting me race tonight! I wasnt happy about coming in second to last in the scion race but the racing was clean. I can only hope to meet up with you guys once I am better prepared. (car broken in and my new wheel!)

On a more recent note about the last post. What about having different tire set ups for the more advanced drivers, ie. 1-3 get comfort hard/ 3-6 get sports hard/ 6-? get racing hard. It is how the racing is done over at the reddit.

haha, your right. I did not realize they had a different thread. I just started with the online club racing and I am not 100 percent yet. As one might see, this is only my second post.

Can you guys post up what the PP and mileage are for these cars so we can add them to the list? Thanks.

Thanks for that. It will shake up the results a lot. In fact we have a new winner for Monday.

But first I have a Question for the group. What country should the Ford RS 200 be from? While ford is of course a US company the RS 200 was a euro ford and euro ford is based in Germany. Then there is the fact that it was built in the UK. So what ones everyone think.

I'm not really a fan of the bonus point system. Even if, by chance, my cars somehow qualify for a bonus I won't claim them. Nor will I notice if they do qualify. I haven't even looked at the bonus point categories :)

I choose them purely from a fun to drive standpoint...or a let's try something new standpoint.

Agreed

Ok, here`s my new monday`s problem. I`m attending a blue print reading course on mondays and tuesdays and it takes place around 30 km away from home. It starts at 7:30pm and it is suppose to finish around 9:30. The thing is, last tuesday we left around a quarter to 10 so when i got home was already 10:15.
I don`t know if we`re going to have this delays everytime and i`m sure is not going to ruin the whole pp cap schedule so what i`m going to do is, i will post my four car choices and monday night, as soon as i can, i will step in regardless how many races i`ve lost.

Ford RS 200 is an ENGLISH car.

My set up for monday:
FF: Spoon Integra Type R '99 - 422
FR: Mugen S2000 '00 - 433
MR: Lotus Elise '96 - 414
AWD: VW Golf VI R '10 - 435
