Official Announcement
With much happiness I can now say that the Known PP list has an entry for every car that I have. That being said there are bout 20 cars we do not have a value for. One of these is a car I seem to be missing and would love to have so if anyone has a:
Honda CIVIC SiR-II (EG) '92
Could you send it to me
Then there are these cars that I do not have and I do not believe can be sent. So if anyone has these and can provide a PP that would be great:

Over the next few days I will be tweaking the spreadsheet. I will adjust the car list to only have cars between 315pp and 550pp. I will also sort the car lists by PP so it should be a bit easier to use it to choose your cars.
I will also be removing cars that do not have a drive train listed. That being said the list is not 100% complete. We have 207 cars that are not broken in. These cars will likely have a PP value between 4-6 higher than listed. We also have 132 cars with High Mileage PP values. I have seen the pattern that cars seem to loose about 1PP for every 10-12k miles. So again these values will likely change as I get more time.

Just a quick heads up. I opened a practice room in an open lobby earlier and got 4 people to hop in. I had to bail but i suggest if you are going to practice/test cars for cap racing we do it in open lobbies with the title Performance Cap Test and see if we can find some racers to join

School is out, I will give this rodeo another roll. Jobyone mentioned a handicap in a PM, and based on who I see here, I will use it. I am betting it will be negligible difference. We shall see! I am still running Chrome Orange Metallic for main color, but black rims.

Hey guys sorry that Thursday night has fizzled out. I suggest for next few weeks we just focus on running Monday. That might allow me to get caught up and start running and promoting this idea better.
Also would you guys like to try to have a practice night? We could just do some runs and try some experiments. Let me know what you think.

I really enjoyed the format, and the company. The grid of four was ripe for growth, especially with the slightly longer races.
I picked a couple of dogs in my lineup. The Renault was crazy, especially at Spa, in my hands of stone. My Mazda was binging a squirt-gun to a gunfight. In Schmiggz defense for race 4, I am pretty sure his car was on autopilot at the end, and I passed him with 6 seconds of the very end or so...
That being said, I would do it again. Even the handicap did not do much- Joe beat me by 30+ seconds in the same car in Race 1, and I still pulled a DFL with big PP advantages in race 2. My biggest problem is the one I know of- me. I should have much more time to practice for several weeks.

Monday is usually better for me to make it. This week has been just nuts for me. I had to work every night this week and I will have to work Saturday morning and possibly Sunday afternoon if they end up having the "IF" game of the tournament. Next week, there is no tournament so I should be free or at least more free.

Handlebar brought up a good idea last night. When the pp cap gets around 2000 we have trouble finding FF cars. And when the pp gets below 1550 or so we have trouble finding 4WD cars. Handlebar suggested when we go above 2000 drop the FF and double up on either a FR, MR or 4WD. And the same with the low pp.
What do you think about this?

There is merit to that suggestion.
Seeing as how we have a 2000pp cap are you suggesting we allow a higher PP? I had thought about doing a 3 car 2000pp event to allow some of the faster cars. Would that sound appealing or do you think the four car format works better?
The other thought is to have race cars run on race tires and adjust their PP by a certain amount. For instance when I ran the gathers civic on RH it was not to far off the pace of Joe in the ruf 3400 on SH. (422pp vs 477). So if the civic had a 10% pp adjustment it's pp would be 464. That would open up a few more options when the pp gets close to 2000. It would also mean you have some cars wickedly fast cars through the corners but they would be down on power on the straights. I feel that could make for some good match ups that would promote a lot of passing. Any thoughts?
