If I wanted to hop in tonight what would be the quickest suggestion for cars?

I'm sure the SNAIL lords would be fine with you using the lists above for your first night.

Think my PS3 just crapped..

Painful!

We are. Issuing you.

Nice racing, all.

The +2tire compound was too much advantage, +1 was a decent start point.

I am out until after 7/16.

Have fun, and I openly hope the PP will slide down a bit.

Night!

Thanks everyone. I had some good battles tonight.

Thanks for coming out and joining us Lefty. I hope you liked it. We were trying out a few new things so tonight was a little more chaotic than normal. Next week should be a bit smoother.

Glad you made it Owens. For being 25PP down you did pretty well.

Joe. I noticed your PP was 2052 so I docked you 2 points. You still have the overall win;)

Fun as always guys! My 2 cents on the HC, I think PP is the way to go rather than different tires because we can be a lot more accurate with a PP change. Each tire grade we switch is a much bigger jump.

What about 1300-1800 as the range?

Below 1600 PP may adjust some lap counts, but y'all handle that well on the fly.

1300 Is Way Too Low. At Least I Got In For A Couple Of Races And I Had A Strange Feeling That Joe Was Cheating...:)

An question occurred to me regarding the idea of dropping a drivetrain; why?

Why not try to keep them all, but if you want to drop one, then you're going to sacrifice one full race from your overall score as you only have three cars. That way, some people can go for glory in three races while others can toil away with lower average PP, knowing that they'll pick up points in the race (or races if the triplets choose differently to each other) when those guys are out.

Owens has PM'd me his track choice:

Tsukuba

The lineup is now set:

1600PP with qualifying at Tsukuba.

Anyone else have any thoughts bout the Handicapping and also the FF issue with higher PP?

The thing with keeping all the drivetrins above 2000 and below 1400 is everyone will be using the same FF on the 2000pp and above and the same 4WD and below. So, if that is O.K. then I would put the cap at 2100 and 1400. Anything above 2100 and below and below 1400 just doesn't seem to produce the good racing. So I would keep it between that.

Anyone down to practice 1600pp cars at Tsukuba tomorrow night?

Test line-up:
FF - Hyundai Tuscani CCS '03 386pp
4WD - Audi Quattro '82 406pp
FR - Scion FR-S '12 413pp
MR - Elise Type 72 '01 415pp

I like the 1600PP. Means I need a bit less practice. I got sucked in to GTA last night. I must say I was laughing when driving the Leaf. I loved the body roll. I am looking forward to driving my Element in GT6. Should be a good laugh.

Now I just need to learn Silverstone. My goal last night was to get a 2:22. I ended up with a 2:25.xxx. I only had two clean laps in my 20 minute go so all is not lost. I will probably need at least a 2:21 to hit my goal and more likely a 2:20.

I am really liking the physics. It is a bigger improvement than I thought it would be. The cars feel much more real. I think this will make Performance Cap racing in GT6 be a whole lot of fun:)

Monday Lineup:

Mitsubishi FTO GR '94 - 388
Audi S3 '02 - 412
Subaru BR-Z S ’12 - 413
Toyota MR-S V Edition (6MT) '02 - 385

Did enough to get golds in everything and bailed. Might try more later just to learn the track better...never seen it before so it's a little difficult to jump in and go fast.

I guess GTA 2013 is taking up a lot of our track time. Lets not forget about Monday:)I am on call so that means I might be able to make some of the races but I will not make all of them.

Fun as always guys! My 2 cents on the HC, I think PP is the way to go rather than different tires because we can be a lot more accurate with a PP change. Each tire grade we switch is a much bigger jump.

I have been thinking about this some more and the problem I see with giving slower drivers more PP is that it does not give them a car that is easier to drive. In fact it can do the opposite. I would like to try using different tires as a Handicap at least one more try.

I would suggest that we give handicaps based on the results for a nights racing. If you come in last for the night you get a +1 tire handicap. This means you can run one race with a +1 tire. If you come in last another night you get another +1. The handicap will be cumulative until you finish in the top 4 for a complete nights racing. Then you will lose the tire handicap as follows

1st - 4
2nd - 3
3rd - 2
4th -1

When you are going to run a tire handicap for a race you should state this using the in game chat. Changes to the handicap ratings will only take place if 6 or more drivers are on track and you must finish every race.

I would propose that Handlebar starts with a +4 and Koszak starts with a +2.

Any thoughts?
