Agree with the Goat. I think the benefit to doing this is finding cars that we actually like to drive within certain PP ranges. Through extensive testing and racing we have weeded out cars that do not suit us. I have some cars that I drive very often yet other drivers do not. And vice versa. They suit my style but may not suit others. On top of that, very seldom do we end up driving the same car on the same race.

Btw...Joby...do you have an extra CZ-3 Tarmac street car? I do not have one of those and would like to try it someday.
of course. I have just sent the CZ-3:)

Also the PP sheet is back up and I now have a backup!

I'd like to race this Monday 7/15/2013. Please add my name to the list. PSN ID: BustedFoSho (Q: No tuning allowed, am I allowed to adjust brake bias?)

Correct. No tuning and you can adjust the brake bias. You can use the sign up sheet on the front page to enter your car. It will give you the correct pp of each car.
Hope to see you Monday..

I will be back racing this on Monday the 22nd. I have to meet with all the parents of my basketball players this Monday or I would be racing. Have fun and get ready for the return of JLBowler.

List:

FWD - Mini Cooper Countryman '11 (392pp)
AWD- Ford RS200 (438pp)
RWD- Amuse S2000 Street Vr (447pp)
MR - Lotus Evora (463pp)

Total 1740pp

Ooh ooh! I know!

There is one German Car!

;)

He's also the only one getting sideways :sly:

Star,
You did really well in that S3 holding me off at Deep Forest. Now go get yourself a mic!

Joby,
Sorry again for messing up the spreadsheet :guilty:

Should be a good turn out tonight. I should be on around 4:30 or 5pm eastern so if anyone wants to practice, shoot me a PM or PSN message.

No problem:)

What might be a problem is the scheduled maintenance tonight. Looks like it is supposed to start at 11:00 eastern/8:00 pacific. Hopefully we can get a good amount of racing in before it happens. If we get interrupted we will just call tonight practice and try again next week.

It is usually on Monday nights, but this time they have the maintenance tomorrow, 7/16. :dopey: Thankfully.

It actually converts to Monday for us:( This happened last time. We got kicked at 8:00 PM Eastern.

Oh man you are right, I saw that new title and forgot to convert it. Any chance we can start an hour early?
If people would like to then go for it. I will be there at the normal time.

I will try to get on as early as possible. Maybe not by 9pm but I will do the best I can.

If you see me in the room then go ahead and join.

We can try to shorten up the races by a lap or two to maybe cut the race time to 15mins instead of 20 mins to get through the races quickly and efficiently.

Qualifying can be cut to two laps, and we can do one sighting lap for each new track.

We could probably do 4 10 minute races. I imagine it will just be for fun tonight.

Just a quick heads up about the Known PP spreadsheet. There are two list:

Sorted Known PP

and

Known PP

The Sorted PP is listed by drivetrain then by PP.

The Known PP is listed by Name. Can you please not resort this list. It is the master list and I use it to constantly update with improved numbers. If anything happens to this list all the other places on the spreadsheet that reference the PP values will get messed up. While I do have a backup now I would like to avoid having to rebuild that.

Feel free to resort the Sorted Known PP list. It will not impact things if that gets messed up.

Thanks.

See you guys tonight.

I may be the guilty person. I was on a list linked in the op. However I'm confused to as what list we should use and can we sort that list by drivetrain?

Edit:
I see the sorted known pp list now. That one is what I will be referencing from here out.

Very sorry for sorting the other list. :(

Its ok. but if you find your tires deflated it was not me;)

My only fear is that it get sorted without all the columns. Then I have to be able to fix it. I would like to try to refine everything on that sheet to make it a bit simpler.

Also maybe I can get Star to help out since it was his spreadsheet Fu that made it possible in the first place.

Prototype lineup for tonight since I got home an hour ago and have pretty much just picked blindly for tonight
FF - Suzuki Concept S2 '03 (414PP)
FR - Lexus SC430 '01 (435PP)
MR/RR - Alpine A110 1600 '73 (426PP)
4WD - Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX 22B-STi '98 (463PP)

Total - 1738PP

Thanks for everyone who came out and raced. It was a fun night. I felt like I had good races at each track. And we even made it through without any drops or being kicked for server maintenance. It was also great to see some old faces (Nick) and new ones (XR Racer). Assuming Handelbar and Bowler show up next week if we all race again we should beat our attendance record.
