PP for next week will be 2000.

Also, the lowest awd car that fits regulations is at 334pp (unless someone has one that is closer to 326). I know in the past when I only ran three races, I had to subtract the lowest availiable car's pp total and not just the lowest legal number. It would make sense that FastFox440 should have to post an actual car that met regulations to count against the PP cap. If this is the case, he was well over 1450 and Kendawg should get second place.
I think JL is right here. Since fast ran a car that was not to spec I feel that docking him points based on how far out of spec the car was makes sense. So in this instance it would be a 12 pt penalty. That being said I hope you guys had fun and I hate that I am not there to help increase the numbers.

Edit- and my ruling has nothing to do with the fact that JL drove my real life car and won the night! Go Element!

hmm. let me see what I can do...

In the meantime lets figure out which three tracks of the new offerings we want to run in December.

As tempting as it is to go Bathurst, Bathurst, Bathurst, I won't as I don't want to turn it into Spa which was used to death when it was released and, as such, was not as enjoyable as it should have been.

So I'll take Brands Hatch (now if GT6 have the BTCC cars like they did in GT2, I'll be set, lol), Ascari and Silverstone since many of us have probably driven this in GTA so it'll be a bit familiar :)

I went with what was available. I do not have the massive garages that most you guys have. The Suzuki was the only low pp 4wd vehicle i had..

I am actually a bit disappointed in the car list. seems like mostly race cars and some old iron. Not much new from the 80's 90's.

I may be most excited about the cars returning. New physics and if they only look 50% better than GT5 standards I'm still happy.

Hope racing last night went well guys. I'm so bummed that I have missed the last three weeks but work has been crazy and I have had to go in even earlier so staying up racing until midnight would be crazy. I hope next week will be better.

Track votes:
Willow Springs (soooo pumped for this track)
Mt. Panorama
Silverstone

All these new tracks...it will take a lot of practice to learn these well enough to race them. Which bums me out because I have almost no free time.

Yea tell me about it. It will take me a year to try all the new cars, features and tracks if I can only play 4-5 hrs per week.

I hear you guys. Without b-spec it will be hard to get the money to buy the cars. That being said I just love driving with you guys when I get the chance so any track time even unstructured is fun.

Brands Hatch, Gran Turismo Arena, and Ascari. We need some shorter tracks in the mix if we're going to run such low PP cars. 360 PP on a three mile track with long straights just doesn't get it done.

What about these ideas?

In our races make it so we can detune cars up to a certain percentage to meet a PP number? This would still be a tuning prohibited race.

Another idea, maybe have some races where we can tune the cars but the PP values of the cars still have to match the list? This would allow tranny, suspension, etc tuning to meet regs. You could add ballast, adjust everything but still need to meet the PP of our list.

Just throwing ideas out there....

I ran in a couple of public rooms with some very clean racing and it was nice to drive some of my old tuned cars for a change. My old BTR is actually fun with ballast and suspension tuning :)

Good ideas there Joe. I'll throw mine from last night out there for everyone to see. Run the night in two sections more or less. Have the first two races be at 800 PP combined and the last two at 1000 PP combined to make for an 1800 PP night. It might take some tweaking to the tire regs but it would allow some low and higher powered cars to be run thus giving more variety. You could choose when to run each drivetrain as long as you still ran one each of the four.

I like the idea of trying some other options. How about we have a tuning night. So if the PP was 2000 all your cars had to be tuned to 500pp. You would still have to use all four drive trains. You could also run the normal untuned cars if you wanted so it would be a bit of a mix and match.

This is interesting

I've received word that the TV is mine until about 8pm tonight, muahaha. Anyone feel like doing a little testing and racing?

Hey guys. I have been looking at the PP for GT6 and I am pretty sure that the values are going to be the same. The images that show the PP in the dealership of GT6 correspond to the PP of cars bought in GT5. For some reason the PP in the GT5 dealership is higher than when you by the car but the value of a bought car in GT5 is the same as the dealership PP in GT6. With that in mind I would love to try to complete the Known PP list. I have been slowly reducing the number of cars that we do not have 100% accurate numbers for. It is currently less than 140 cars. I will post the list below and if you could take a few minutes to check your garages against the list and let me know if you have any PP values for a broken in car from the list it would be appreciated

Have fun tonight. There is a small chance you may see me later in the evening.

Also thanks for the PP updates. It is great to see the number of cars I need info for down to less than 70:)

Pretty sure it is in there based on there still being an engine overhaul option:(

Did anyone else read Jordan's hands on article? Sounds like the GT86 triplets handle more like real life. I hope this brings to life some of the better ff cars.

If you have not voted for the new tracks please post your votes.
