Allowing engine limiting (the old Standard car Thursdays let us do it to 90%) to increase the amount of cars people can use.

So what are the official pp splits?

I set a 1795 total line-up:
FF - VW 417pp
4WD - Mitsubishi 449pp
FR - Nissan 461pp
MR - Honda 468pp

Me lineup:

795pp
408 (FF) Mazda Kusabi Concept '03
385 (MR) Toyota MR-S V edition '02

1000pp
497 (FR) BMW M3 CSL '03
502 (4WD) Ford Focus Rally Car '99

Are we running all four cars on sports medium due to the 1795 total?

Testing after work:
Team Alfa 795pp
FR - Giulia 1600 386pp
FF - GTV '01 407pp

1000pp
4WD - Impreza Rally '01 503pp
MR - Acura HSC 497pp

Maybe we can run the tires that each grouping would normally run if there were four races at that average PP. So the 1000PP group would run SS and the 795PP group would run SH.

Does that make sense?

Draft lineup:

FF - Mitsubishi FTO GR '97 (396pp, 4.8k miles)
FR - Mazda Roadster RS (NC) '07 (398pp)
MR/RR - RUF RGT '00 (504pp, 30.8k miles)
4WD - Ford Escort RC '98 (496pp, 3.9k miles)

So to be clear, first two races at 1000 pp on SS and the last two races at 795 on SH. Is this correct? I will put something together after I finish dinner and be ready to go tonight.

Correct. You still need to use all four drivetrains.

Make sure to check the known PP as I think the Ruf is 506PP

That is correct however I have mileage on this one which has dropped it to 504.
Granted but we always use the maximum known PP in order to level the playing field. It is not a big deal as we just deduct the pp overage from the total points. And I actually got it wrong as it looks like it is 505pp.

I shall replace the Ford with the Delta Integrale RC...from 496 to 492 so no penalty for being over the pp limit :sly:

Congrats on the win tonight Joe! Looks like the battle for second was really close between Ken and Bowler. You each had a first, second, third and forth placed finish. Not sure how to break the tie other than let it go to the one who used the least PP. Does anyone else have another suggestion?

We used the better qualifying position to break the tie. Probably the best night of racing I've had in the cap racing. Good stuff by everyone involved.

Glad you had a good night. Did people like the split PP format?
