Fresh from the NCD post update Audi R8 4.2 is 523 PP after break in and rebuild just like it was before the update. The only possible change I see is the number that shows in the NCD. I don't know why it was changed (if it even was) but the actual PP numbers appear to be unaffected.
It almost looks like it is now showing the just bough with oil change in the NCD although when you buy it your PP is under that value. that is just speculation.

But FastFox says his Alfa TZ2 is showing 505 PP rather than the 501 PP.

Fast, Have you ever hacked cars in GT5?

He does hack cars. Don't know if he ever hacked that particular car bur he does build hybrids...he has mentioned the ease of it a few times.

Yup, open to suggestions. We are in the Leicester Square area.
Well when I first went back to England as a beer drinker in the early 90's there were three british beers I wanted to drink so I went to the following

For Samuel Smiths
http://www.ratebeer.com/p/princess-louise-sam-smiths/4009/

For Fullers
http://www.ratebeer.com/p/star-tavern-fullers-belgravia/30141/

The Third was for Youngs but I can not remember the name.

Now as you can see they do not necessarily rate all the well but They were what I was after.

As far as good places just check out the map

I just purchased a brand new Alfa TZ2 on my other account and will break it in to see if it is anything but 501 PP. I will post my findings as soon as it's finished.

I have built them prior to 2.14 but have since 2.14 came out. I just havent bothered with it because all i was really doing was racing in snail. Originally it was for drift cars. But it has been a while since i made one.

I finished breaking in the Alfa and did the rebuild, lo and behold, it's has 501 PP just as the pre update version had. If Fastfox has one with504 PP it's either tuned or hacked. A little research and checking before speaking could have saved me quite a bit of time today.

I found the issue with mine. I have 0 hacked cars. I think I wasnt pay attention and it had a racing air filter on it..

Throwing down with some different stuff this Monday. Not going with any of my "Ringers" ;)

That's right...no French Knight Rider, no Type R this, Spoon that, Mugen this, FT-86 that, RS200, NSX etc. Just some regular old crap that I never drive...because I probably tested them a long time ago and found they were mediocre at best ;)

I expect mediocrity but I will strive to represent the finest in mediocrity ;)

I hear ya Joe, I'm tired of driving the RS200 and the Spoon Integra. I'm enjoying the little things about the premium cars these days.

Joby,
Making an all premium line up is not easy. Props.

that is cool to hear. Variety is the spice of life. Anyone else going to take up the challenge of not running these cars?

Is the RGT that good of a car? Other than the "Boxster" my experience has been they are all terribly bad handling stock.

RGT is really great actually.
I will second that. It is my favorite car in the game.

Give it a try and just be patient and wait for that rear end to start to swing and then there is this great sweet spot that you can just hold the slight drift.

I tell you...drive it at Fuji F. I was pulling better times than two Zonda C12 cars and a Audi R8...tbe RGT was at 504 and those two were in the 520's. Of course I was overzealous a few times and hit the wall but the car is made for tracks like that. Suzuka, Monza etc...it kills.

Because Porsche.

Or in PD's case a wider Porsche with a different name

FF - FTO GP Version R '99 411pp
4WD - Celica GT-FOUR '98 430pp
FR - RX-8 Type S '07 436pp

I'll have to give it a go, got a few collecting dust. I'm really sad that we can't bring our garages with us to gt6. I have a couple of cars I'm really going to miss, and I am worried they may not make it over. Not sure what I would do for drifting without my crossfire. or touge without the 3400.

I will be bringing out the big guns on monday:

FF-Mini Cooper S '07 397pp
4wd- Ford RS200 439pp
FR- Toyota FT-86 Concept '09 444pp
MR- Acura NSX '91 440pp

Why not....I'll even see if I can rustle up a lineup which doesn't include my usual '08 Honda Civic pick for FF as well :)

All gt5 cars will be in gt6:)

I've been doing a little research into some of the cars we use and I found a couple things:

- The cars we use the most are the underrated ones, according to pp. For example, the infamous Ford RS200 '84 at 439pp, aside from being a rare mid-engined 4WD car, has a power-to-weight ratio of 4.57 KG/HP which is better than the BMW 1 series (4.875 and 463pp). An average car in the 435-445pp range has about a 5.02 KG/HP. To look at it even more, these are a few cars that have KG/HP near 4.57:

2003 Nissan 350Z (Z33,EU) - 4.475 KG/HP 467pp
2000 Camaro SS - 4.575 KG/HP 467pp
2002 Subaru WRX STI - 4.63 KG/HP 465pp

- Aside from power-to-weight, several things impact how well a car performs. Most aspects like suspension and transmission settings can't be translated numerically and come down to feel. One way I found to compare similar cars was to figure out how the power-to-weight ratio correlates into the pp value.
Dividing the KG/HP by the actual pp value helps to show which cars are performance valued near their power-to-weight (I multiplied by 100 to make it near 1 since the actual number is a large decimal and lower numbers are better):

2004 Holden Commodore SS - 4.833 KG/HP 469pp 1.031 (KG/HP)/PP
2010 Impreza WRX STI - 4.838 KG/HP 468pp 1.0337 (KG/HP)/PP
1984 Ford RS200 - 4.57 KG/HP 439pp 1.0418 (KG/HP)/PP
1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV GSR - 4.72 KG/HP 449pp 1.0513(KG/HP)/PP
2007 BMW 135i Coupe - 4.875 KG/HP 463pp 1.0529 (KG/HP)/PP
2004 Acura NSX - 4.88 KG/HP 454pp 1.075 (KG/HP)/PP
1991 Mazda Efini RX-7 Type R (FD) - 4.755 KG/HP 441pp 1.0782(KG/HP)/PP
1991 Acura NSX - 4.875 KG/HP 440pp 1.10795 (KG/HP)/PP

I only looked at cars in my favorites for this, so there are many more in between I'm sure. One thing to note is that these numbers do not take torque into perspective because the power-to-weight only uses hp. I did similar numbers with KG/(HP+TQ) but for the most part the results are the same. Some cars like the S2000 don't look as good once you include torque into the equation.

Some cars we use a lot:
2000 RUF RGT - 3.359 KG/HP 505pp .6651 (KG/HP)/PP
2007 Audi R8 4.2 - 3.594 KG/HP 523pp .6873 (KG/HP)/PP
1965 Alfa Romeo TZ2 - 3.584 KG/HP 501pp .7196 (KG/HP)/PP
2008 Alfa Romeo 8C - 3.695 KG/HP 507pp .7287 (KG/HP)/PP
2001 Suzuki GSX-R/4 - 3.657 KG/HP 493pp .7418 (KG/HP)/PP (Mine is NBI)
Gran Turismo 350Z RS - 3.776 KG/HP 503pp .7507 (KG/HP)/PP
2003 M3 CSL - 3.733 KG/HP 497pp .75114 (KG/HP)/PP
2003 Shelby Series One - 3.768 KG/HP 487pp .7737 (KG/HP)/PP (Mine is NBI)
2007 BMW M3 - 3.867 KG/HP 496pp .7828 (KG/HP)/PP
2010 Chevy Camaro SS - 4.034 KG/HP 505pp .7989 (KG/HP)/PP
2000 Spoon Civic Type R - 3.6607 KG/HP 455pp .8046 (KG/HP)/PP
2003 Trial Celica SS-II - 3.878 KG/HP 476pp .8146 (KG/HP)/PP
2004 Honda Integra Type R RM - 3.878 KG/HP 469pp .82677 (KG/HP)/PP
2000 RUF 3400 S - 4.0625 KG/HP 477pp .8517 (KG/HP)/PP
2004 Amuse S2000 R1 - 4.133 KG/HP 475pp .87007 (KG/HP)/PP
2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A - 4.15033 KG/HP 473pp .8775 (KG/HP)/PP
2001 Honda NSX-R Concept - 4.2475 KG/HP 470pp .9037 (KG/HP)/PP
1999 Spoon Integra Type R - 4.758 KG/HP 422pp 1.1274 (KG/HP)/PP
2000 Mugen S2000 - 4.863 KG/HP 433pp 1.123(KG/HP)/PP
2007 RX-8 Type S - 5.0192 KG/HP 436pp 1.1512 (KG/HP)/PP

Cool info 88. I would love to have a modified PP system that would "level" the playing field a bit. That being said in a little over a month we will have a few hundred new cars to try to find the sleepers. Plus new tracks:) I can not wait. Now if I can just find a night that I can race:(

Are there still going to be "standard" cars? It felt like such a cop out for GT5, and if they do it in GT6 I would hate for that to become the norm for this franchise.

They are supposed to be making them look better but not all cars will have cockpit view.

Line-up:
FF - FTO GP Version R '99 411pp
4WD - Lancer Evo VI GSR '96 449pp
FR - RX-7 Type R '91 441pp
MR - Lotus Elise '00 418pp

Draft lineup...still breaking in the Opel so it may change if it goes over the PP limit

FF - Renault Sport Megane Renault Sport '08 (421pp)
FR - Mazda RX-8 Type S '07 (436pp)
MR/RR - Opel Speedster Turbo '00 (430pp)
4WD - Toyota CELICA GT-FOUR (ST205) '98 (431pp)

Total - 1718pp

Well poopypants. The wife has decided we haven't sufficiently used our Disney annual passes enough this year. Therefore she has decided we are going Monday and letting the kids skip school. And so I will be unable to sample the fine racing this monday.
