Yeah...the average PP is 525 and there are no FF close to that so drop the FF and choose two of another.

One could take the Xsara RC I suppose at 497pp....however given how poor the FF cars are off the line, I highly doubt any of us will decide to use it tonight.

FF: Citroen Xsara Rally Car `99 - 513
FR: Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 `04 - 511
MR: Pagani Zonda C12 `00 - 525
Wildcard: Lexus LFA `10 - 549

Total: 2098 Perfomance Pointzzz

Not the greatest night in terms of battles for me this time....if it wasn't myself who made mistakes and drop back from someone, it was them doing it instead :(

Luckily, Motegi SS made up for that. Good stuff there, bowler and fastfox 👍

Ok guys, something in the 1400 range was discussed after the racing last night but the tracks just don't seem to want to allow that to happen. Can you imaging taking a 350 pp car to either Spa, Tokyo, or Motegi SS? I don't think so.

The PP for next week will be 1720.

I just realized that the results are not posted as of yet. Ken and I tied for 1st but I won the tie breaker by virtue of two race wins to Ken's one. If I remember correctly Ice-Warden tied for third with someone. It was either Tez or fastfox, I don't remember right now.

Test line-up:
FF - Volvo C30 R '09 422pp
4WD - VW Golf VI R '10 435pp
FR - BMW Z4 '03 427pp (NBI so I'm assuming 431pp when it's done)
MR - Lotus Esprit Turbo '87 432pp

I decided to try some cars I've never driven before and I wanted all premiums but this will do.

Edit:
BMW Z4 is 427pp fully broken in so I'm changing my MR to RenaultSport Clio 434pp

I have updated the results and posted the new partial lineup. Ken you are now free to choose SS7 as your track choice:)

I have also reverted the sign up sheet to have the four drivetrains.

While I appreciate that the cars would feel slow on those tracks I have to wonder if it would actually create some close racing.

Drink some nice warm beer for me while you are there. I miss the English Pubs

I have been a CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale - the warm beer guys) member for over 20 years.

That will be the first thing I do when I arrive. ;-)

England is really going through a beer revival now. You may have to seek it out but there is some good stuff being brewed other there now. Will you be in London the whole time?

I saw that too. It seems to me when I read it that it was one guy with one car. They guy also had tuning parts and admitted to using hidden parts on cars. I wonder if he put a hidden part on that car and forgot about it and that is why it changed. I looked at a few tonight and haven't seen any changes.

I also looked it seems to be a 4-7pp difference. Although it was with a race car. Bought the Alfa TZ2 broke it in and was actually 505pp instead of 501pp. But I doubt it will affect cars already broken in.

Yup, open to suggestions. We are in the Leicester Square area.

Not one of my cars has changed pp value Joby. You can also make the BMW Z4 '03 a solid 427pp broken in.

High Speed Ring will require me to alter my line-up a bit. Hmmm...

What a pain. It looks like none of my cars have changed PP. However I have two Alfa TZ2's. One broken in at 501 and one dealership fresh bought some time ago at 489. But if you go to the dealership the TZ2 is showing 494 in the dealership. Broken in this would likely be 506/7. I think I will need to do some more digging but at this point lets assume there are PP changes:(

Thats a dumb move. Why would PD change pp values less than two months before a new release or in another light, 3 years after release.

I noticed that at 13:54 in this ISR video that some cars seem to have there PP listed. Here is the list with the GT 6 value followed by the current GT 5 NCD PP value for them:

Ferrari 458 - 558/554
Ford GT 06 - 567/563
Mclaren 4c - 566/561
Acura NSX - 433/429
Toyota 86 GT -406/402

They all seem to be 4-5 PP lower. So while our current figures may not be the same hopefully we will be able to quickly adjust them all by 4-5 and be close to the GT6 values.

I took a quick look at two Hondas in the ncd. I have an insight and crz fresh from the dealership. The insight is now 2pp higher in the dealership and the crz is 3pp higher. It looks like all new cars may have a higher pp an ones alReady bought. No idea why this is so but I will do some more checking when I get home tonight.

After i left the house i remembered the post above. Can someone check the cars quoted above in the ncd? I bet the new values reflect the PP points in GT6. If that is true at least we can get a jump on the pp for GT6:)

That's interesting. Hopefully if we get all these new pp values straightened out we will be right on point for GT6.

Just found out another reason why PD did this. They are targeting the modders/hackers again, and all modded cars that are going into online lobbies are being reverted back to their original state. This may also be the reason that the PP's have changed, to line up with GT6 and make it easier to spot modded cars.

I checked the two Honda's and once they are bought and added to the garage, they show the same PP as the older versions of the same car with 0 miles untouched cars. They do show a higher number in the dealership as Joby noted, but the PP is the same as the older car once you add it to your garage.

This is the same scenario for every car I have looked at so far that I had a 0 mile untouched example of in my garage from before the update. It appears that a change has possible been made to what shows up in the NCD but it does not appear that a change has been made to the actual value assigned to the car once it is purchased and in the garage. I will keep looking and if I find anything to dispute this, I will post it.

I am currently in the process of breaking in an Audi R8 4.2 to check it against the pre update PP number. It was 523 fully broken in before the update. The one in my garage is still showing 523. I just bought another one and Bob is running it now to check for a difference.

Not sure if you tried or not guys, but someone mentioned in that maintenance notice thread that you needed to get in the car for any updates to the pp to take effect. Sounds almost like the opposite where it is wrong in NCD and normal in your garage.

Thanks. Lets hope we do not have to update the PP values for cap racing.

Fresh from the NCD post update Audi R8 4.2 is 523 PP after break in and rebuild just like it was before the update. The only possible change I see is the number that shows in the NCD. I don't know why it was changed (if it even was) but the actual PP numbers appear to be unaffected.
