Excited to see Reggie Bush run over some people for the Lions. Felt bad for them ever since Barry Sanders retired just a few seasons too early.

I have updated the lineup post. Thanks for the quick choices.

I want to get your guys thoughts on the switch from GT5 to GT6. I gather that most of us will be switching on day 1.

Assuming we will be able to give cars away without losing them (like we can in GT5 using a thumbdrive) do you think we could work together to quickly amass the 30-40most used cars in the Cap racing. If we could make sure to buy them if they are available and share them we could potentially switch to GT6 within a week or two. It may take a while for us to get a full garage like we really want but it might jump start the process.

The other thought is to make December a practice month. We meet on Mondays and just drive **** for the fun of it. Spend the time learning the new tracks and maybe even recruit some new people in some open lobbies. Then in January we could start fresh with new track lineups and hopefully garages that will give us some good diversity.

What do you all think? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

I'm willing to meet up and run whatever we have. Once we get into the swing of it we can start having themed nights again.

I will be buying and racing GT6 day 1 and I hear there is no going back to 5. I kinda figured as much after driving with the academy physics this summer

I'm getting it from the local EB Games (GameStop affiliate this side of the border from what I can tell), so hopefully that will be the day it gets released.

Electronics boutique used to be in the states, it was like the original gamers store. Game stop came around later, like 2000ish, and kinda bought everything out. At least thats how it happened around Michigan. I'm doing the same thing though. I've got it pre ordered, but I'm going to pick it up launch day.

5% chance I make that tonight Joe. Soccer practice for my son and then I need to get a new cell phone right after.

I'll be on around 4pm EST today practicing if anyone wants to join.

FF - Integra Type R RM '04 469pp
4WD - GT-R V Spec II Nur '02 480pp
FR - Corvette C4 LT4 '96 474pp (used a resto coupon and broke it in but only hit 473pp?)
MR - RUF 3400S '00 477pp

I should be on around the same time today Tez if you want to do any last minute testing.

Pretty sure this is my line-up for tonight:

FF - Trial Celica '03 476pp
4WD - Ford RS200 '84 439pp
FR - Corvette C5 Z06 '04 514pp
MR - NSX-R Concept '01 470pp

Indeed, and we get two CFL games to celebrate it

I think I will settle on the following for tonight:
FF - Honda Integra Type R RM '04 (469PP)
FR - Toyota FT-86 G-sports Cocept (483PP)
MR/RR - Honda NSX-R Concept '01 (470pp)
4WD - Subaru Impreza WRX spec-C '04 (478PP)

Disconnected again. I'm done for the night. ****ing campus internet. I think I'm gonna move back home and work for the family business. At least I'll have halfway decent food and internet that works.

Congrats. Today was my 7th and she was happy to let me race. We have a tradition of going out to breakfast every year.

It was discussed and we are going with 2100 for the PP next week. Staying on Sport Soft tires.

Good racing last night guys. It was good to see Star race again and racefan for the in/out when he could. There was even a Joby sighting!

Congrats Handlebar and Bowler!

I still have a lot more work to do with my consistency, but thanks guys for letting me run in this series. I'm looking forward to all the high powered cars next Monday.

One last note, we had discussed tracks and cars and GT6 last night so I just had a thought. There's only one track that won't be carried over into GT6 and that is the Top Gear track. I can't say I am fond of it personally, but maybe we run it once before it is gone? I'll never place high enough to pick, so I'm just throwing it out there.

Ahh fun times....being at the back going into the crossover point on the track and getting absolutely smoked by the leaders. I didn't know what hit me and, of course, the leader wasn't impressed either

I'm assuming you raced that in the SNAIL spec series or have we done that in cap racing before?

No actually. I think it was standard car Thursdays when it was up and running. I was just bad for getting penalties or flying off the road around the TGTT so I was pretty much always at the back

That was not me that was a USO (Unidentified Spinning object)
