Game is awesome, set up like the academy tutorial though. Oil change puts pp at GT5 max so looks like no break in needed?

Can I just say how refreshing it is to do a TT and not get a million credits? That was one of the biggest things I didn't like about GT5; earning credits was far too easy with it.

Test line up for Monday

FF - Honda Fit RS '10 356pp
4wd - Honda Element '03 344pp

FR - Mugen S2000 '00 433pp
MR - Lotus Elise '96 415pp

Little pissed that when you are detuning a car, as you move the power slider up and down, the PP indicator doesn't change until you select the percentage of power you want. This sucks as you have have to keep guessing the power percentage until you hit your target PP.

Hard to explain... but try to detune your 86 GT prize car to 450pp.

Test lineup:

FF - Hyundai Click Type-R '04 (337pp)
MR/RR - Toyota MR2 1600G '86 (359pp)

4WD - Toyota Celica GT-Four '91 (418pp)
FR - Honda S2000 '06 (430pp)

Edit; now I don't need to detune :)

I found the same thing Joe. I got the MB Vision car and went to do the seasonal at Matterhorn with it, but it restricts the PP to 584 and I had changed the oil so I had to use the limiter to get back down. VERY annoying.

That was the only thing I have done tuning wise so far. Every car I used has been stock and I'm enjoying the physics. I can feel the car better in GT 6 and the tire sounds help me a little more this time around too. Now I just need to learn the new tracks...

Favorite car so far: Boss 302 on sports hards. Handles light years ahead of the Camaro SS '10 and has 2 less pp :)

Yeah game is quite a bit better. Tires are better...SH feel a lot grippier but when the car breaks loose it is a bit more violent :)

I am just going to the second cup. Got the First B license. No more time until tonight.

Love the new tracks I have seen so far...which is limited to Brand's and Willow I think.

The new lighting and time transitions are great, but on the new tracks like Brands Hatch and Goodwood where I don't know where I'm going, it is very challenging. Starting to get the hang of them, especially Brands because I think I had 4 or 5 races there already. Silverstone is another popular one in the career mode, but I had a little experience there with the academy races this summer.

Done with work in a few minutes and then back to GT!

You don't need to buy the Lancia Delta Integrale (the normal one, not the rally version) guys, just got it as a prize car for completing half the stars in National B.

I'm not buying anything unless necessary. I figure with all the anniversary cars and prize cars so far, I can detune to suit.

Willow is a great track but god awful scenery. Brands is great also...both versions.

I see a few things right off the bat I'd like fixed...like detuning I mentioned earlier...but overall the game is fun. I think I'll keep playing another week :)

Going to hop on tonight to try and unlock online racing so I can race Monday.

Where are the anniversary cars?
There should be a code in the anniversary case. It has instructions on how to redeem. Been great having them. So far I have not bought or modified a car:)

I've bought a few (BRZ and Prius for those one-make missions....felt wrong buying a Prius, have to say). Any word on how to rescale the track map yet?

I'm pretty sure that's what Willow really looks like. I've never been there but I've been to the area outside of Los Angeles and that is what it looks like. It's pretty barren and brown for the most part.

Thanks, Got it.

I went ahead and purchased the 2.5 million credits. So, I can go ahead a get some cars bought.;)

Everyone else finding the licenses way to easy to get gold? I remember in GT3 it took me forever to get that final gold running the Toyota GT One around Monaco with no assists.

Yes. But look at it this way. How much better are you now than back then? If you can Gold the final tests in GT5 then the early tests on GT6 will be easy. They are designed for new people to the game not the fastest GTers. I do wish that it would look at your level in GT5 and adjust the tests accordingly (and the payout)

Hey @jobyone sign me up for monday race 👍 I'll post the cars later tonight.
Great to have you on board. Whoever sets up the room will post the number in the thread. You can also send friend requests to jobyone71 and ice_warden.

Also if you have any questions just post them in the thread and someone will provide an answer.

I just finished the IA license, the last two rain ones you didn't even need to hit an apex on one turn to get gold! Anyways I need to figure out my line up

Lineup adjusted and PP added after oil changes.
Thanks.

Since there are obviously a few PP issues with GT6 can everyone post there lineup and include the PP value after oil change. I will begin to update the spreadsheet. Only 1200+ cars to do. Lucky me.

Thanks.
