Why didnt it come as a surprice when i got dc`ed , maybe because just before that I saw warmachine lagging BIG TIME , but that kinda was that season , no reason too race the last anymore :ouch:

EDIT. ohh it wasnt just me that got dc`ed , iff we are going too race again now , I would like too be host and in open lobby instead off community

Well thank you psn for sharing your experience with us and ruining our series. Good thing I have other leagues to run in. Hopefully they go better than tonight's garbage. Might be time to sell the ps3 and buy a wheel for the ps4:cheers::gtpflag:

The entire room crashed their for the race will be re run next week pushing back scorpions favorite series by another week :)

well since you guy got twice the time to work your setups out does that mean i get twice the lead. That woyld be 13 seconds right ?

@Die_Birdy_Die
A reiteration of the rules regarding "Short-cutting Chicanes" would be informative.

It is very easy to "cheat" through the chicanes - particularly when no one is looking.

Heard it said once, "Our Character and Integrity are what is revealed when no one else is around."

Your totally right tex , but I would say that it isnt a big peroblem in the main race as you can see it in the replay iff you want too , its a bigger problem in the qualifier as you dont get a replay from that .....

Yea this track is the worst for penalties if you nit pick it to death . I see everyone blowing a track boundry here and there. Its just the nature of the beast. The min you start worring about track boundry to much here guess what..... CRASH !!!

who cares? as long as we get to finish the race without getting discoed I'll be happy....

So, are you saying that "anything is okay as long as you don't crash"?

Hmmmm, F-1 does not take such a position. Neither does any other "real world" racing series. They abide by the established rules "for mutually accepted racing boundaries".

That would make your fellow GT-1 drivers wonder if you have always been cutting corners. That would give some understanding to your superior laps.

PS - I fully expect to be penalized for every corner infraction.

Lol yea well thats a shame anyone would believe im a cheater. You know I have worked hard to lay down alot of the foundation of this series in the past and now . Funny how im trusted by the founders and the Chief to make sure this series is fair for us all .If anyone questions my integrity why dont they just ask them why im trusted to do so. For anyone that believes I cheat I pitty them . They are taking away from what they can achieve with an excuse. We all make mistakes and I am no exception but I focus on driving at the highest level I can . I have a plan and I do the best I can with it. I guess 4 Pro championships says it all about a so called "CHEATER". Goes to show what people think about hard work these days.

Thanks

Sir,
If you will come done off of your High Horse, I did not "call you a Cheater".

I raised the issue of not cutting corners as a necessity for the continuing fairness, enjoyment, and success of SNAIL Clean Racing. Surely you understand that to be the foundation of Zero5's concept. Clean racing is not just avoiding Crash-n-Dash type racing. It is also having confidence in the other drivers to follow the same limitations and boundaries accepted by joining the league.

In SNAIL it doesn't matter who you are, how fast you turn laps, dominate a Division, or are awarded Championships. If the Stewards/Members cannot trust each of us to abide by the rules, and concept, of fair play, then the future of our league is definitely in doubt.

Am sorry that you took my comments as a personal insult. It was intended to emphasize the need to maintain our concepts of fairness. And present a logical curiosity about success if someone thinks some rule(s) should be "flexible and not required".

Great race last night everyone. Again, the importance of doing your homework was stressed to me as I slid off turn 1 because I hadn't practiced coming out of the pits hot, and then ended up needing an emergency fuel stop with two laps left. I'm learning in these enduros, the tracks have their own problems besides just turning left and right and how long is the longest straight. There's a rumor going around that the next track is a tire eater...

I think we all need to take a deep breath and relax... this is just a video game!
and a dying video game at that..
But I/we have to run the modified SNAIL rules so I get stuck trying to run against drivers I would never run against in a regular SNAIL league race.

personally I am still fuming about getting stuck in the pro class and having to run with D1, D2 and D3 type drivers when I can barely stay in the D5 class in Snail, which by the way I am stuck in because D6 is currently full...
I personally hate this car at this BOP. I am not having any fun running it at all.

In the next version of this game all of the cars will be balanced by the FIA/Polyphony gurus much like Project Cars has done, there will be no spec racing, there may only be on (cockpit type) view to use. The entire way we race will be changed and is changing for the better. The rules will be automatically applied by the FIA, stewarding will be done in game automatically like they are now in Project Cars. there will be no cars ghosting to drive through only slower cars with damage to drive around!

So my advice to all of our racers that are still with us is to take a deep breath in and exhale and remember this game will be a distant memory soon enough and we will all look back and laugh at it when the next (or current) games come out.
:cheers::gtpflag:

Note to Self, take a deep breath, smile and enjoy the day.

Hmmm, with all those predicted changes on the way ...... Looks like I'll need to find a different "hobby".

Well Ill put it to ya like this. No one has put me on a high horse but you. I believe it was you that took my comment wrong in the first place. This is a VIDEO GAME not F1 . Half the time you cant even tell what the cars are doing on track from lag. I never said you called me a "cheater". Im pretty sure I used the words like them , they and anyone. Rules are rules and I follow them just like everyone else. All I meant was Monza was the WORST track for penalty of track bounry because of the extensive use of the curbs . The minute you over correct your OFF the track. Anyone who thinks my performance on track is a result of CHEATING is full of bologna ! So I don't want anyone to think of me in that way. Point is I try to help everyone in this League all I can without just giving it to them. I want us ALL to WORK hard to achieve a higher level of driving. You included Sir. Im sure I have tryed lending everyone a hand at one time or another including you.At the same time I am here to WIN just like everyone else. I just don't see how other drivers put the BLACK hat on my head all the time for it.
Anyway nice debating with you.
Thanks
Chris\War
