I dont get ot the fathest we are going is maybe 22 laps. you can do 12 lap stents. I dont believe I have to do the math.?.?.?.lol

what part don't you understand?
I am not sure about all of you but I can't get much farther than 8 useful laps on these shty SM tires!
By the 8th lap I am only doing 2:48.xxx's to be able to keep my car on track in these frigid temps!(after 20 races I have not see a track temp over 62°F the lowest I have seen is 46°F)
If my math is correct (might be a little rusty) 12+8=20, and if I believe you, I would be about 2 laps short of finishing if I had to pit again.
Right now if I stretch my SM tires for 9 laps I cannot get across the line on lap 21 below 52:55.xxx mins!!( trust me I have tried 10 times and counting...)
So my speed overlord I will do my best, but I fear I will come up frustratingly vastly far behind the leaders.

I see what your saying .Im told you how to change driving style. Your going to have to use less throttle and go just as fast. Trust me it can be done. Your going to have to drive the car more like a NASCAR. Thats how im killing you guys with tire wear and fuel consumption. Roadracing a cup car is all abput finess and thottle controll.

I know you think its BS but its not . Driving the cup car teaches you so much more than any other version. When you have 850hp and 3300 pounds you learn to finess the car.

your right Heir Speed Overlord, I will not compete against you I will only do what I can do with my 8 bit steering wheel and 8 bit pedals. I will fight hard and valiantly for a podium finish.

Hey guys, since it's pretty quiet and what not, maybe I'll bring up the fact that I like to model old racing circuits. Old tracks tend to be simpler and faster, so you get more of a flow. I've added original Spa (with elevation), Riverside, and a couple others to the track database. What's your experience with running user created tracks? I know it seems like I'd have an advantage but I really haven't done much with them which is why I'm bringing it up here. Thoughts? Do they cause loading problems?

Just remember your job isnt to focus on me . Focus on the championship. I just come from a NASCAR background that developed my skills to where they are today from tuning to driving. They are the most difficult cars to roadrace in the world. I have that experience to be thankful for.

Your silly , I won 2 Pro titles using the same wheel you have. DFGT wins championships bud. I loved mine.

I have no problem with using user created tracks as long as @racingchamp30 is willing and able to get them to load. It broadens our track selection beyond just GT6's tracks. However I would not be able to practice without either someone opening a room for me or find a jump around to load the tracks myself.
I know it illegal to run them here.
Wrong. It has never come up within GT1 so it has never been assessed.

Yea it has I asked you about eifle and you said the creator tracks were to glitched and were illegal.

No I didn't or not that I recall.

We need to test to make sure that the initial glitches are gone. The only glitch I recall about all of the course maker tracks is that you can not switch tracks without making a new room which for us is not a problem as we stay on 1 track for the entire night.

For what it's worth. From my experience running the oval series on created tracks, they are very laggy. The lag occurs anytime someone crosses a checkpoint on the track and it does not go away. I tested this in a room with three guys with very strong connections and the lag was still present and very predictable as to when it would occur. This happened on all created tracks and the same group was able to run on non-created tracks without issue.

That would be a huge issue for us. We get into a lot of long close battles and having cars lagging around the track would not be good.

Thanks Bowler , it`s good to have a guy like you for these type of questions.

for what it's worth I think Euclid, Dragon and Blood decided not to use them back in season two and also to not use reverse tracks that season... I am not to sure but the founders would have that info somewhere in their archives...

Yea your right, I remember when even the original tracks like grandvalley were banned. It had to be a real world circuit.

No disrespect to the creator's of this series but as I'm sure you all will have noticed this series isn't that series anymore although it has the same name.

I take offense to that sir.
But in all seriousness. This league has changed. It has changed in how we do things how things on the track have changed and so forth. And it is a good change and I appreciate the new leaders of this series and applaud them for the hard work they do

Well I see nothing wrong with the current way but I think the creator tracks is a little much. I mean there are tracks we havent even been to yet.

On a higher note . I am very excited about this new class. Has anyone been testing ?

I know im the one that created these cars but I still cant believe what they can do at 1550 kg. Just amazing !

They are big ,mean and heavy as well as thirsty and fast . Just an absolute ball to drive. My favorite class and I have made 4 so far. I cant believe they can achieve what they can!

I think they put me in mind of a Sprint cup car. Just nudered a little . lol
