NOTICE TO ALL PACK RACERS.

Effective as soon as we get all the technical stuff done, the new Series Director will become @racingchamp30. This will require the closing of my Club Room and the opening of RC's new one. All racers who wish to continue to compete in SNAIL Monday Night Pack Racing will have to insure they are his friends so he can invite you.

The reason for my departure from the Directors role is that I have become more and more caught up in Endurance racing. This led to my being absent for more than a few weeks this summer which led to a gradual loosening of the reins which led to some overly optimistic driving . When this happened, a number of our regulars commented to me that it had become way to "Chippy" and they they were going to take a pass on future Monday nights. It then became obvious to me that the Series needed the direction of someone who was ALLWAYS there who could act as a director should. RC was the obvious choice ,in that he is the regular host and has been a constant contributor from day one.

I will continue to grace the Monday night tracks when my other commitments allow..it really is too much fun to pass up.

I believe that RC has sent out invites to all who were already his Friends who competed last night. I got mine and tried to join. But as usual PD made life too difficult. The invite got me to the page but the JOIN button was absent. If that happens to you do the following.

Exit the room and look for SEARCH FOR CLUBS on the left.

Click Search for Clubs

Go to search page and scroll down to the bottom and enter the club number in ENTER CLUB ID.

Hit the GO button....it will take you back to the Pack Club Room and magically the JOIN button will appear on the right .

Click it.

Have Fun.

Yeah, invites have never worked from the messages link on the main screen. Kinda pathetic that it's been over a year with this community thing and they've still not fixed this issue.

I think it has to do with where you open the message, either from the game home screen or from the 'Community' menu. I just joined and have already forgotten which menu I used to read the message

I was not able to join. I got a pop up stating that it is a Private Club and can only join by invitation. I was able to make it a favorite.

Edit: Having as a favorite does not allow you to join the room. Get "only club members allowed to enter this room.please join club first"

...welp at least I got caught up with the seasonal offerings. Lots of credits to scoop up. The Eifel Expert Level Race Car Challenge is a 🤬

Really? I liked that one...but had to quit first attempt because I had to exit to buy tires for the car I was using. I was thinking of trying it with some other cars.

Just use Intermediate Tires and pit at 5. If you are decent in the rain you will be well ahead by the end

TS030 Priano 600PP Tune

, I was able to lap 1/2 the field and when the scoreboard timed out no other car had finished. It was overkill, to be honest.

Edit: Since then I have tried with a couple other cars and I feel your pain, my advice on tires only applies to the car above. IM tires just melt away on the GT cars I have tried, forcing a 2 pit strategy...but there is an AI team that uses a 1 pit strategy making it very tricky to make up the 1 minute.

On the eifel race....Chaparral 2j.....intermediates only...pit affter lap 5 or 6. Oh..use auto transmission....makes a no brainer.

Yeah was really strange, first you and a couple others disconnected then the whole room just crashed, Great night of racing.
