Knock-Out Qualifying Lobby is now open - 1472-4711-0167-3384-8630

Seven positions are up for grabs in tonight's Knock-Out Qualifying session. Top 7 lap times from tonight's Knock-out qualifying will advance to the Main Event. Top 10 confirmed drivers, please do not enter the lobby until KOQ is complete at around 8:45 eastern. I will update the thread and lobby title once we are finished with qualifying.

As a reminder, prior to anyone joining the lobby (KOQ or Main), please clear your cache to help ensure quality connection.

Well I screwed myself twice tonight...

R1 - looking at a solid 8th place finish... oh yeah, fuel... never mind :rolleyes:
R2 - shadow brake point... oh wait :rolleyes:

Still had a great time despite my terrible finishes, love Spa. :cheers:

I'll be away the next two weeks, but count me in for next season. Love this series!

Race Car earning the most votes by 11:15pm EDT Friday 9/26/14 will be chosen for Season 4.

As with last season, we will have a "Driver Favorite Vote" for who you feel deserves to race in the season ending All Star race next week. You can vote for anyone who participated in the previous season that you feel showed good racecraft and sportsmanship. Please include your vote along with your season combo vote via PM. Winner will be announced Saturday Morning. Below are the names of drivers you can vote for:

Ok cool.. Does trying real hard to make a race and not get in earn me another vote? :D Its just races made/started correct?

Sorry for bailing last night fellas. It just wanted Parcells night, what an embarrasment.

In R1 was initially doing fine near the front battling just behind Grimm and Brnt but around lap 3 had an off, followed by more offs cause I couldn't friggin drive for the life of me. Don't even think I made it to lap 2 in R2 cause, yes you guessed it, went off all by my lonesome on another turn I've taken 1000's of times but for reasons unknown eluded me last evening...serentiy now!!!

@dragon - I see your still using my pit crew - race hard tyres :lol::embarrassed:

Yeah, your plant(s) almost managed to sabotage the first race with those tires and then keeping the car out and missing the planned pit window. Arguably, the driver was in a fairly heated battle with a couple of cars and staying out a couple of laps to get some clearer track position was probably better anyway. The second race went about as flawless, strategically as it could have. That first stint battle in Race 1, between Drunk Dragons' #13 and 3 other cars was fairly epic.

I did no maths last night so am anxiously awaiting the final standings for the season. DD made a run at the toasted ghostie team from down the paddock, but I'm not sure we got enough to turn them into soggy second place spectres. We'll see how it worked out. I might have even made enough points to pull ahead of that triple G spook in the DC. 2nd is still better than 3rd.

Season 3 was a ton of fun and the cars and tracks suited me well. Spa is perhaps the best track for me, especially in cars with downforce and gorilla glue for tires. Was only half a second off Wiifreak's best until he threw down that 08 in race 1.

Thanks to everyone in the RCS for all the fun and especially @GGGMotorsport, @brntguy, @Wardenclyffe and my partner this season @euclid58. Experiences like this are why we play.

As part of the new season activities, we are happy to announce the addition of five new drivers to the series as @Matt Sierras, @IceManFan_7, @AndrewMorrell, @unsub073, & @vsfit look to take to the track in Season 4. Even with these additions, our active driver list currently stands at 26 which allows room for 4 new drivers on a first come first serve basis.

If anyone is interested in joining the series, please follow the below process.​

Application Procedure​
  • GTPlanet ID
  • PSN ID
  • Racing Number – Refer to Driver List below (Active and Part Time Drivers) for Available Numbers.
  • Car Color - Body and Wheel colors (paint chip name) you plan to use.
  • By submitting your application you agree to the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR) along with following The Good Racecraft Guide.

It's entirely possible the gauge thing is affecting sound. The first time I experienced it was when I opened a room and a couple of old GT friends joined. I had been in the Custom Gauge menu screen to check out the options and interface, didn't install any gauges to any car but I think one of my friends may have installed one or more on one of his cars, but, he wasn't using that car in the room at the time. I could hear my car just fine and he could hear my car, neither one of us could hear his. This doesn't really eliminate any one thing either of us did as the cause, but, I've not had the sound issue hit my car yet.
