The person with the most interest in the team championship is @euclid58 as he is the only driver in the two teams not already in the All Star race. Winning the team championship gets him in without having to finish 2nd or better in either race.

The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race next week at Spa-Francorshamps by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern on Race Day) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). Unfortunately we had a technical malfunction for the start of R2 in round two.
That hurt us badly in more ways than one.
But with Spa looming large on the horizon, all we can do is work hard in preparation for it.

Now, if we could just get Sebastian Nico Lewis Wiifreak more Lewis than Sebastian and Nico, we might have a chance. Right proud of even getting a podium with this crew and actually winning a race is beyond expectations.

Sound Issues
​

As Im sure we have all experienced since the 1.12 update, there are time when a driver in the lobby will lose all sound to their own car (engine/brakes, etc). In doing some research, it seems that one of the contributing factors was if you exit the track to the pits then reenter the track, you lose sound. Exiting the room then reentering is only solution (sometimes). You would not lose it as long as you stayed out on track.

As we found out last week, recreating the room does not solve the problem for everyone so we will not go through that process on Wed Night unless there are other issues at play.

What I will do is ask all drivers to get in the lobby right after KOQ and get to turn 1 and make sure you can hear your own car. If you are good to go stay in turn 1. If you cant hear your car, Leave the lobby and come back in usually works however if you still cant hear your engine, A good suggestion is to change to automatic transmission. You may be a tick or two slower but at least it will shift for you.

If you do have sound issues, you can exit and re-enter, restart however I need to start the race on time as there is no guarantee that it will get resolved. Hopefully PD will get this sorted ASAP

I have not run a single lap there yet so Im not sure what is a good time. Also depends on who shows up for KOQ. Last week we had 6 and all made it to main event. However this week is Spa so Im expecting a slight better turnout for KOQ.

That was nice last week. It didn't matter what happened. But then in actual race qualifying I was so far off. But that's what happens when you race with other divisions. I'm sure everyone in the top 5 qualifying spots were in higher divisions than me. Gives you something to strive towards.

Preseason Testing​

As I did during Season 2, I will be hosting testing sessions for the next season on Mondays @ 9:00pm Eastern doing a series of short practice sessions on various tracks that I will use to determine the voting combos. This will also help in producing the upcoming season promo videos. All series drivers are welcome to attend these testing sessions.

That said, Season 4 will feature the following cars:

Monday 9/8 we will be testing the 2001 Volkswagon Golf IV GTI Touring Car
Monday 9/15 we will be testing the Honda CR-Z Touring Car
Monday 9/22 we will be testing the 1997 Honda Civic Type R (EK) Touring Car

For the middle of the packers benefit Parcells best time was just over 2:12 which was maybe half a second shy of Zii's best time.
