With the new system of names, my name is F.Sousa (Fabricio Sousa), beacause there is my full name, can I keep that name or I have to change to F.98 (Fabricio98)?

Hey Snails,

Just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know I'll be racing in the Chumpcar race at Laguna Seca this weekend, so if anyone is in the area stop by and say hi. I'm in the #30 Miata P.I. car this weekend (so we probably won't win, but should be fun). Also if anyone is up for a challenge try to predict our fastest laptime by using GT6 (I've been using it to practice). Its a miata with a 1.8L engine and some "go fast" mods that is on moderately sticky street tires (some where between comfort softs and sports hards in the game). I'll send a GranStand shirt out to whoever gets closest (1 guess per person).

Thanks,

I'm going to run a few laps tonight and see what I can come up with 👍

Anyone else :D

And on an Allen Berg Racing Schools note. Here's a look at what you can do with them 👍

Look fun to anyone?

Where is a picture of the sweater?
Happy Birthday DW.
Happy b day DW! You old fart! That spring, is amazballs! Just be sure to fully press the brake before you go racing.
A suggestion was made that while you have it all a part, and if you don't use the clutch, to put the clutch spring under the accelerator.
I tried it and like the pedal "feel" for the accelerator.
Just passing a thought along.
Enjoy your new gifts and be sure to "kiss the Giver" ......unless you bought it for yourself.

Thanks guys.

The new brake spring is installed. Wife is taking me out and she's gonna finish off one of her presents from last Christmas, then take me out for birthday lunch/dinner. After that, gonna' pick up grandson #3 for overnight stay. Going to stop by a parts store somewhere and pick me up a 2.5mm Allen wrench. The one I've used on the brake spring housing is ASE and doesn't fit very well. Afraid of messing up the screw heads, so, will wait to move the other springs around until I get that. Probably won't be back to GT6 until sometime this evening.

No pic of the sweater. Sorry. Some things just shouldn't be shared. ;)

Ohh, the springs! My suggestion, do not move the clutch spring over to the accelerator. It makes it to stiff. The brake sporting over to the clutch is nice though.

From your earlier description of this process, I think in the GTEye thread, that was my plan.

Happy Birthday DW.. just had mine on the 1st! Sags are best! =D

Did anyone pre-order GT6 from amazon? If so, did you get your pre order promotion / when?
I am looking through my emails and I have zilch!.

Soooo, we have to use these new names, but did anyone notice, when you look at the members list of a lobby, it's all the psn id's? Talk about consistency...

I didn't feel like using my real name at the outset, so I just split my GTPlanet name into "ATL" and "Skydiver". You'll know who it is if you see A. Skydiver on the track, Lol.

Well there you go, not only am I going out tonight with the slo-pitch team to celebrate a few of them having birthdays around now, I can also celebrate for DW so he can play GT6 instead

Hi Guys,

I wanted to join the league, and get into some fair online racing. I have played GT, GT5 and now on GT6, I guess I'm an average driver or maybe a bit better then average. I'm usually a little strapped on time, but I'd love to get in and have some fun. Please let me know what I should do to get in.

Thanks!

Thanks for your interest!

We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information.

3. @kcheeb PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. kcheeb will add you to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_1, 2, 3, 4 or 5' based off your placement from kcheeb. That lobby will be where you race Sunday

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

Has anyone rolled over a car yet? Last night I was ripping it up with the Ferrari Dino at Madrid Mini, went over a Kerb over heavy breaking and actually ended up with the belly up! It actually was hilarious, should've saved the replay..

Yep, at Deep Forest yesterday. I took too much of an inside kerb on corner exit and went for an unexpected trip in my Subaru

Big time. Go to Willow a springs, go off track, hit a culvert.

Funny, was there drifting and did the same thing this Morning handle. Got funky mid corner, shot off the road, never lift, and found a gully as I was cutting across the field. One long flip on to the to of my car, then flash, I'm on track again.

Not directed at anyone here....but it would nice if the forum had a "dislike" button as well.

Just sayin... :)

I like your attitude and for that you get a plus 1. Did you find your color yet?

BTW,
If anyone is available tonight, I will be on around 10pmEST, I would like to take the KTM for a spin around Nord Nurb. That car is just awesome!

That car is a challenge for me. The only way I can drive it is to trail brake every corner.

Yes! The old Mercury and Chevy offerings had what I needed. Thanks to Harleyman for the tip.

I drove the Rocket recently and it was fun but it under steered more than I expected. Ktm is fun but squirrelly :)
