I did most of my "buying" after I patched and did the update image thing before I did start buying. I only have about 120 cars or so and at least 50 of them were my bankrolls. Down to about 40 of them left. Might go on another spending spree today.

Just for those of you who might be wondering about equipment differences;

New SNAIL Placement TT times;
Standard G27 Brake Spring & Flappy Paddle shifting - 1:43.896
GTEye Brake Spring & Flappy Paddle shifting - 1:43.532
GTEye Brake Spring & Clutch + H-Gate shifting - 1:44.255 (think I could get this into the 43s once I teach myself to be quicker getting my right hand back to the wheel after shifting.)

I have no idea what it might have been, clutch & H gate, on the standard brake spring, as I didn't do it that way before I swapped in the new spring.

I seem to find that I am also about 1 second a lap slower with the Clutch + H-Gate. The only reason I do not use it all the time is Noise. It transmits a lot of noise downstairs to the neighbors

You can change the wheels on your car. Both the 1 up and 2 up wheels can get into a tuning prohibited room so there really isn't a way to police having them on the car.

Hey SNAILs,
This Sunday night's races will be special for several reasons. First of all, they'll be our first official races on GT6. Secondly, they'll mark the two year anniversary of our very first league night in 2011. And finally, well.. it's the Holidays! So with these three things in mind, let's celebrate!!

So here's the plan.. We're going to be awarding $30 worth of PSN cards on Sunday night (thanks to the generosity of @fzappa). One driver from each division will win a $10 PSN card!! We're still working out the details, but there's one thing for sure.. You can't win if you don't race!!

Anyways, just want to make the announcement so that you guys know what we have in the works. Welcome to GT6!!.. Happy Birthday to S.N.A.I.L.!!.. and Happy Holidays!! Let's make Sunday night a celebration of all of these awesome things!!

We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information.

3. @kcheeb PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. kcheeb will add you to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_1, 2, 3, 4 or 5' based off your placement from kcheeb. That lobby will be where you race Sunday

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

How many of you did the M4 time trial? I did a preety fast lap in one of my favourite tracks and placed myself in second place out of my friends list. Awesome..... Worldwise I was I'm four thousand and something.... 7(SEVEN) seconds slower than world record!!!! Wooooooot? Jeeeez I REALLY SUCK,

Yes, you won't be able to play it until you get the plus membership again. It suck I know, but with the amount of free games (and their value) that you get from signing up I think it's worth it. ... Just make sure you have a lot of space on your PS because when you notice it, you'll have downloaded so many games that you'll run out of Gb. haha

I uploaded a quick replay of my "Willow Springs" route - I think in a Scooby? - it is in the D5 Replays on the Steward's Drive for the moment. I know I rolled it twice at one point on this run - my record is like 5 complete rolls, I think, and not from trying to roll intentionally. I've managed a double pitch-pole (end over end) as well, but that was kind of forcing it. ;-)

I wish I could figure out how to get from the replay to uploading to editing and/or uploading to youtube at some point.

Strictly a spec race meaning all the cars are stock. As for the HP and PP, did you change the oil on each car?

While it is not mandatory, if you're already assigned to a Division, we would like as many SNAILs as can, to go ahead and do the new divisional placement TT. Same track, different car. It will help us place new SNAILs more accurately, the more times we have on file.
