I am probably a no for this Sunday. Busy weekend for motorsports in general and my stuff is no exception. The possibility is there for four tracks in four days.

Sorry for no-showing last night guys. I was at my friends graduation party and I was having so much fun I totally for got there was a race going on :/

Guys, I am so sorry for not showing up last night and not letting you guys know of it. I was called to go to work right in the morning to do a banquet. Turned out I got to work at around 3pm and only left the restaurant at 1am and I completely forgot to tell you guys I couldn't show up.

Sorry you guys couldn't make it, Spa was a handful and a treat

Well last night just plain sucked. I got up to go to the bathroom after race 4 and when I came back my ps3 was restarting and I couldn't connect to psn. Which is just as well as I was not enjoying the races. Don't know if it was that I was just slow last night or if it was all the contact. I started pushing in race 4 and was driving in a manner that I don't normally.

That's strange, I think iceburgeson had some issues with PSN last night too, real drag. Last night did seem a little intense, you schooled me a couple of times though

I think in general the gap in skill is getting smaller, both speed and racecraftwise, making it harder to pass. Again, in general, we seem to be a little more aggressive trying to make things happen.

Gt5 used to freeze up for me a lot, and I've got really good Internet, the problem was in the settings of the ps3, unless you manually turn it off, it searches for a media server the whole time you are on, i used to freeze up every day, without fail, I just switched it off Friday morning, and I haven't froze since, I know it's only 2 and a half days but trust me I woulda froze, it worked for me, give it a shot.

I found that out the hard way too. I'd set it up to do a test, after that I had some issues and realized it was searching all the time. It's been shut off ever since.

I don't know who that guy was. But the lag that he threw down when he showed up the second time cost me six seconds, at least. If anyone wants to see it, download the replay of that race and skip to about 4:00 in.

Sorry guys, I've just spent my entire lunch hour trying to figure out who "unrealanthony" is. I recall him asking to join one of our non-Sunday events, which is why he only has access to the D2 lounge. Therefore, he either asked to join the M3 GTR Race Car challenge or the Tuesday Night Parity Racing Series. I sent him the invite on April 28th, but I can't find his original request anywhere (gtplanet or PSN). One thing is for sure though, I had no idea he was racing from Argentina.

Not sure what to say, seems Sunday's are a problem for you. Why don't we try a late afternoon Sunday test with some of the people from D3 and see what we can work out.

That sounds like a good idea.

The most frustrating part of this is that my connection was great for days, and then suddenly, although nothing changed, my connection completely failed. And I was pretty excited for the combos this week (though I'm glad the third combo seems to be staying, and I'm hoping either Tsukuba or the Punto also stays). My connection is toying with my emotions like a bad ex-girlfriend, and I don't like it.

I would definitely try some sort of test Sunday afternoon. I might also contact my service provider and see if they have any idea. Maybe they throttle the internet on Sundays? Who knows.

By the way guys, the next X Lap Magic Race (still not sure about that name) is this Friday at 10. The first hour will be Corvettes at Laguna Seca, so make sure you have one. After that, any car will be allowed and we'll put the track to a vote. It will be open lobby again, so I'll post the number when it's open. 👍

FINALLY ITS MONDAY!!!

Time to make life very uncomfortable, 1 hour of Cat and Mouse at a time!!

I thought about joining for last night's races, but then remembered I hadnt confirmed I would be there and wasnt on the list. If there is racing this Sunday, I believe I can make it. I'm finally about level 25 in B spec so I can start using my drivers in the enduros to break the cars in.

The Argentinian guy PM'd cmbeal317 in response to his interest check thread about the M3 GTR Race Car challenge. cmbeal317 then forwarded the PM to me so that I could grant him access to the D2 lounge where those races take place. That's why I couldn't find any messages directly from him.

cmbeal317, it looks like unrealanthony made this post on Saturday night, but only after we were wrapping up for the evening. I'm guessing he just poked in on Sunday to see what was going on and looking for the M3 GTR Race Car Challenge. Can you please contact him and clarify when we race? We may also need to do a test run with him to make sure lag is not an issue with anyone else. Apmaddock was affected by lag when we entered the room, but I'm not sure if anyone else was.

I'll add you to the drivers list, you'll be starting in Division 3. If you can't make it on a Sunday, please be sure to give us at least 24 hours notice by posting in this forum, it makes things much simpler for us, thanks.

PSN friend requests will be sent to you from SNAIL_Division1, SNAIL_Division2 and SNAIL_Division3. Their lounges are where we race Sunday night and hold our various events. Here's a breakdown of the ways we use the different lounges.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

I told Cheeb earlier that Friday is up for grabs. I would still like to do this, but I don't want to take away from another night.

How about replacing Shuffle Racing on Thursday nights? The problem I see with Monday nights is that new car and track combos aren't ready until Tuesday or Wednesday. If you are sticking with the previous format you had in mind, then Monday would not be ideal due to the new combos not being known yet. However, Thursdays would be ideal since the new combos are known by then and plus a Thursday event wouldn't force anyone to choose between races on Monday and an established event like Monday Mayhem.

So.. what are your thoughts on Thursdays?

Okay, now I remember. He had messaged me a few weeks ago saying he was having surgery and wouldn't be able to race for a few weeks. I'll remind him that we race on Saturday's and perhaps could try a lag test before the start of the race. Also I wanted to say that I will be available to race this weekend, though if Sunday night is postponed, I'm going to postpone the M3 GTR Challenge.

Where does PD get its weight from? I was just looking in the Chevy dealership and noticed that the 69 Corvette weighed more then the 69 camaro. In real life the camaro weighs 3765lbs and the vette weighs in at 3425. I'm not sure what that translates into kg, but I'm positive that it doesn't translate into the vette weighing more.

I really like Thursdays, but I need to see if I can reschedule my current Thursday engagement. I'll let you know tomorrow.
