My apologies for getting this posted late, couldn't miss the M3 race last night and the GT Planet site maintenance cut into my edit time.

I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the S.N.A.I.L. Advance Notice Policy and how it affects relegation in particular.

You will be considered for relegation if you meet one of the following criteria (in order of importance) :

1. Did not race, with no notice.
2. Did not race, with late notice (less than 24 hours).
3. Finished with the least points in Division 1, least or second least points in Division 2.

I bring this up as we've had a few situations where these guidelines have been used and I didn't want any confusion as to what happened. I realize life get's in the way sometimes and things can't be helped.

We use this criteria to fairly apply relegation, that is all :)

I will be there tonight. It's next weekend that I will be unavailable.

Thanks for letting me know esh, list updated.

I got confused because a lot of times our holidays fall on the same day. This weekend is our Victoria Day weekend and I assumed Memorial Day was this weekend too. Sorry about that!

More confusion, I have some corrections to make to the drivers list affecting D2 and D3. Will post as soon as I sort it out, sigh.

Thought I mentioned I was not able to race tonight due to being in San Fran. Guess not if zero had to ask me again. Anyway. I'm out tonight.

Hey dvdoughboy,

I don't remember you posting anything about not being able to race. I just checked your posts and the last one I see saying you're out is the one for mothers day :(

I'll update the drivers list, have fun in San Fran, great city!

I don't know if I posted this idea before, but...

On Sundays, I usually get on between 8:30 and 9:30 Eastern. I load up a track and practice. That is all fine, but then others come in, and I feel kind of guilty. Maybe they want to practice on a different track. So, my thought...

On Race Days (Sundays) the D1 lounge is dedicated to Round 1 Practice, the D2 lounge to Round 2, and so on, until 9:30 Eastern (30 minutes before race start). At that time, people need to be leaving so the designated host can shuffle to the top.

Good idea, bad idea?

As an aside, I will be online probably around 5 or 6 Eastern today to practice. I've only ever been on Spa once. I don't really know my way around.

Division leveling has saved my butt again! Hopefully tonight will run without distractions and I can get in some good racing.

Hey guys what's up? Not much I think, I just skipped through 5+ pages :nervous:. I will donate 2 tickets today for prize C, a 67 bday ticket and a 24 ticket. I finally have an hour to practice - first time in days. See D3 guys tonight!

That's a great idea Vol 👍

But in keeping with my state of confusion, how about we use SNAIL_Division1 for Round 3 practice, Snail_Division2 for Round 1 practice and SNAIL_Division 3 for Round 2 practice :dopey:

I probably shouldn't have posted that, but I felt compelled ..

Here's how it will be:

SNAIL_Division1 - Round 1 practice
SNAIL_Division2 - Round 2 practice
SNAIL_Division3 - Round 3 practice

zer0, can you update the room usage post with this?

Thanks.

Yeah, pretty quiet week all in all :)

Thanks for the donations 👍 much appreciated.

Have fun tonight.

Is there anyone in D3 tonight that has a Grade A or Grade B connection as rated by www.speedtest.net? Since both Handlebar and dvdoughboy are out tonight, we don't have a verified bad ass connection to host the D3 lounge tonight.

I don't see any grades on speedtest, but I just tried pingtest.net and got an A.

I don't know if it's the best idea if I host though. I've had connection issues in the past and earlier today I couldn't stay connected to rally's shuffle room.

Sorry guys but im dont think i will be able to make it tonight. Had something unexpected happen at work and i dont think i will get out in time. If i do happen to get out by 9 i will be on by 10.

I won't be able to race tonight. I know this isn't very far in advance but something came up at the last minute. And I don't have the DLC

I'm glad you liked it.

I'm going to log in now, and since I need to learn my way around Spa, I'm going to start in the D3 lounge.

PD may have missed on a lot of things in this game, but damn those cars look good!! I'm also glad to see the RM Silvia sticking around. That car really is well sorted out on the track. Nice pics Devious.

Agreed. Nice pics, Devious!

So we had D2 pics posts by Rally and now D1 pics posted by Devious. Anyone want to post pics from D3? :D

pingtest isn't a good source for what is being looked for in a host. I just did it and got an "A", and I've got pretty poor throughput.

With the issues you've had in the past you probably shouldn't be hosting a room, either.

That said, I'm not convinced that anything other than network incompatibility issues are actually affected by whoever is first in the room–particularly when it comes to these private lobbies.

Fan of the tilt-shift, Sharkie? hehe Nice shots.
