I would go to Speedtest and Pingtest from your phone.

I am a big proponent of having a hardwire connection. Not only does a bad connection effect that person but it also effects others. If anyone has a Nat 3 connection, you are going to have issues.

If anyone has a NAT 3 connection, they need to fix it right now. If you're not wired all the way through your connection, you need to go to Amazon.com and order some cable. If you're not wired outside your house, you need to look into some real internet service providers. When it comes down to it, DSL would probably be more reliable than anything run through a cell phone or through a satellite.

It's like zappa said, you're not just affecting your experience, you are affecting everyone else's experience.

Actually, if it was me and I were using my cell phone for internet, I'd be doing it from another device. To be brutal about it, I wouldn't even consider gaming over the internet over cell service.

Back when I had iRacing, they specifically banned the use of satellite internet. I haven't looked at it in a while but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't allow a connection through a cell phone as well.

Sorry this is a day late, but still wanted to salute all our Snailiens....

As they take off for Silverstone..

And for Breylon, Edgar, and Russ and everyone at Yellow Room that day the pun definitely intended with the above image. You know what I mean with that.. Cheers.

Haven't even done a race yet and I'm into controversy.

You need to resubmit your time trial with the correct information. I would have answered your question privately but you set up the conversation you started with me to not allow replies.

I've been scouring the internet for several months for further information and turned up with nada so I'm wondering if anyone here knows...

The whole GPS custom course maker "future update"... Anyone know if that's still a go and when it's going to launch? I'm dying to drive the local tracks and compare real-life lap times (not to mention off season practice!!). The drive to work and some of the sweet twisty highways around here would be awesome too!

This was the last update on the course maker. https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-6-track-maker-currently-in-beta-testing/

I'd love to join. My Wednesday night golf league ends next week. Heading to your link now...

Hey, I'd love to join this racing league. I met a most of the guys in NYC and they said it was a must. I didn't even know there were leagues like this that existed

Just finished finals so now is the perfect time to join. I've been reading the rules and I love what I'm seeing. Let me know what I can do from here.

@Bryds

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: on the main thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

I will tartly reply "BS & Onion Gravy" until they actually deliver. The 'I may have something, maybe soon...' Claptrap is insulting.

I feel bad that @Jordan was somehow involved in allegedly having PD guys 'answer' posts in anything resembling timeliness - I have no doubt about Jordan's intentions, too bad PD has looked so.... Bush league.

(Trying to drop my annoyance at PD not communicating much of anything - wasn't the Ronda pre-release fun almost a year ago?)

Which is why I'm waiting so eagerly. I know it's there, it's gonna be made available soon. Hopefully with the FT-1 VGT update in September.
