Yea it looks really nice. Only thing I do not like it the targa but that is nitpicking.Damn @Handlebar
That is a damn beautiful car. I really hope it works out. Glad to have been of service...happy to help out and live vicariously through you for a short while
Targas are my fave. Best of both worlds with the greater visibility of the targa rear window.Yea it looks really nice. Only thing I do not like it the targa but that is nitpicking.
OK, any suggestions on how - what company? - to ship the extra two racing seats and roll bar?
Time is not a major concern - I want them to arrive in good condition (not stolen or damaged). I won't arrive off the plane with any boxes, so suggestions on how/where to get packaging materials for 2 seats, or two single seat packages, are appreciated!
Regardless of car, tires and PP, rUnning Nurburgring helps with understanding speed, braking, corner entry/exit and pretty much has everything you'll ever have to face on any track! There is no way I am going to Nurb until I can take a low HP car on RS around Spa with no mistakes. I found I can drive the Gazoo Racing Toyota fine but still need basic wheel skills.
Good news, I am in Division 4! Looking forward to meeting up with you guys tomorrow nightI hope you're in Division 4! We'd love more racers

I would check and see if you can find a racing supply store in the area. I'm thinking that UPS or standard FedEx isn't your best option here. Just the size of the items, roll bar in particular will probably require a freight service of some kind.
Come to think of it, why don't you just install the roll bar in the car to drive/ship it home then you just have to worry about the seats. If you're shipping the car, you could put the extra seats in the current car seats upside down and call it good.
Man I would so take a detour on that trip and find my way to the Blue Ridge Parkway!!!! Most notably a plase called Deal's Gap. 11 miles, 217 turns of a section lovingly nicknamed "The Tail of the Dragon". AMAZING!!!If all goes well...Looks like I am driving home, I will turn it into two days so I can enjoy the mountains, stop in Roanoke and come home on the Blue Ridge Parkway if the weather is nice. I like the roll-bar-in-car solution.
Atlanta... Hrm... I have a feeling finding a racing supply store will be "doable" in that area...
(May have a line on some SNAIL shipping.... @hognhominy - da MAN!)

Went to the killboy website expecting awesome pics...it says he's been doing it there since 2001 so he ought to be damn good...but those are not very good photos. Unless the guy is just hiring photographers off of Craigslist...my location is "The Dragon" in German, as I am usually at The Dragon in German.

If you are going to have business selling photos, at least have some damn good photos on the front page...I hate being critical but if you have been doing it for 14yrs...these should be ALOT better.
