The Washington Post obituary today:

"For Ferrari, Mr. Pininfarina oversaw the body design of the 1968 Daytona, known for its long, sloping hood; the 1984 Testarossa and its dramatically vented doors; and the 1987 F40, with its signature rear wing. His last contribution was the 2002 Enzo supercar, inspired by the low-slung bodies of Ferrari’s champion Formula 1 cars.

...His 1965 Dino Berlinetta Speciale, a prototype with swooping front fenders, greatly influenced future generations of Ferraris...."

Also apparently 250 GTO and 250 GTE in the early 1960's.

Wiki said "Pininfarina designed (and partially assembled) the Cadillac Allanté. The car's bodies were assembled and painted in Italy before being flown to Detroit for final vehicle assembly."

Sergio was born in 1926 and joined his father's firm. I knocked off the designs from before 1950. Under Notable Designs for the Pininfarina company, the company is credited with working on (some are only partial credit, but still... nice list!):

I imagine that we'll either be watching fireworks or nudging kids towards a late bedtime. The racing sounds fun - wish I could make it. Enjoy!
 
Breaking the cars in today....I thought I'd already done the Lotus RM but it was the 111R version, not the normal Elise that we've got listed :grumpy:

I've only got the Leaf so far. AS far as the Corvette Flag Pic... the only one I see with a door open is 8th row down, second car from left, Passenger door is open. In the first full white strip of flag. Looking forward to tonight's Practice Races.

Good stuff Turbo, glad you joined last night! I think you'll find S.N.A.I.L. a good place to hang out and race 👍

We run a clean league by enforcing the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and we expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both.

I'll add you to the drivers list. Please run the Time Trial Combination in this post and pm your time to me before Saturday July 7th 6:00 P.M. EDT. The time you send will help us determine which Division you'd be best to start in. We do as much as we can to make sure everyone gets involved in some close, clean racing.

If you can't race on a Sunday, please give us at least 24 hours notice by posting in this forum, it helps the Sunday Race Directors out.

PSN friend requests will be sent to you from SNAIL_Division1, SNAIL_Division2 and SNAIL_Division3. Their lounges are where we race Sunday night and hold our various events. Here's a breakdown of the ways we use the lounges.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

The original post also has a lot of information regarding the league, commit it to memory ;)

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices here. To avoid duplication of choices, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

I'm going out of town for a soccer tournament this weekend and not 100% sure I'll be back in time for Sunday night racing. I'll do my best to get some practice laps in tonight and Friday. Hopefully someone will be around tonight that can give me some tips.

Worked for me! I can head to D1 in 10-15 minutes (by noon EST) for a bit at least. Hope I catch ya.
 
I was looking forward to some tutoring tonight. I need to tame that Ferrari! Last night was awesome at spa! Nice lil' friendly competition with val!
