Too bad division 4 was won in secretary and not on the track but congrats to the winner.

I have to ask, IF you had raced cleanly, would that have changed things?

What are *you* going to do differently as a driver, since this bothers you?

... Anything else I want to say about sour grapes, I shall refrain from stating publicly.

It looks to me like it was won on the track in spite of the winner getting taken out and losing points. The winner of the division still managed to win by 21 points.

I think you should check your math and possibly retract your statement.

As we get ready for the September season to start, I'd like to close out the August season by announcing the August Champions for each division:

Well, my new wheel arrived today (good thing it was only coming from Sacramento, next day delivery from free shipping). There are a few issues though. The pedals for the G27 will not fit on my original playseat. The plate is just not long enough for the pedals. I also have no shifter mount at the present time.

I will be building a new rig using the seat from the playseat and my woodworking skills. With that being said, September is by far my busiest time of the year for my business (drilling bowling balls). I also have to find time to complete a full bathroom remodel on our smaller bathroom in the house. This means I will most likely not be able to have the wheel up and running until the first part of October. I will either be on the controller until then or I will break out my daughters old drivng force wireless and give that a shot. Neither one will allow me to set up a manual transmission so I'm stuck in automatic. At least the wireless wheel might let me run in close proximity to others.

Velcro the pedals down and leave the shifter on the floor; use the paddle shifters.

Made to the dimensions of my AE86 using my old passenger seat. :sly: I've just yet to get the Thrustmaster shifter and add a mount.

What are the other SNAILs using anyways?

I really enjoyed a Lancer so far. The spring rate is pretty high and tight but it still feels pretty good going around those turn
s. That chicanes also pretty nice I enjoy that as well.

I'm still using my trusty old DS3. Although it's one of the old models with no vibration unit in it so its really not a dual "shock". Always thought about getting a wheel but now that I'm in college I don't really have room for one in my dorm.

gratz to Skills. I can't believe I got 4th overall, however I agree with Joby, and think something may be wrong with it.

No the points were 100% correct:) only the trophies had not been updated. Skills won no doubt and you deserve your 4th. Though My money in on you being top three in September for sure:)

I hope so, and thanks for the confidence in me. question for you guys. I've been having this problem, with my chest muscle/going into my armpit. its been sore, but more or less just a burny feeling/warm to the touch. When I play it gets worse. I had the FF on 10 trying it out the past couple o f days, do you think that may have anything to do with it? Anyone else get sore from this game? Or am I just an out of shape loser? haha

It's not quite that easy Dabneyd. The original playseat has the pedal base between the seat and the vertical arm that supports the steering wheel. There is a vertical arm at the edge of the pedal base and there is the bar on the floor at the other end of the pedal base.

This doesn't allow the pedals to sit on the base. They either have to rest on one bar or the other and that makes it very unstable. I could run without the shifter but I can't use it with the pedals flopping side to side.
