Three things.
1: about the 1 mill car issue. Enough of us use the bspec yahoo widget app that I dont think getting everyone here to to 20 mill credits in a couple of weeks would be that hard. Just a little planning would be needed.
2: if the race is at 10 am on saturday, you can count me in. if not, then I will be on at 10 am to set up some races (that would probably be rally and nur)
3: Weather. what if we had it full time raining? then all racers would be in the same conditions. While I cant verify at the moment, Im pretty sure this can be accomplished.

I have found the best way for me to raise money is the online Seasonal B-Spec Challenge 3 @ Suzuka. I use a PP limited Mazda Furai and as long as the McLaren F1 is not in the race its a guaranteed $1mil in 20 minutes. Even if the mac is there its still $600k. So in 1 hour you can get $3 mil. I tend to just run it while doing other things. I was doing it mainly to get my B-spec to the top of his career and in the process raise the $500mil necessary to buy every car.

A bit more hands on than bots but it is a good alternative.

Is anyone doing any racing? Got real discouraged with how one sided the stats was, and how little ability I have against those drivers, and I would like to just do what this game is meant for, and have some fun.

There are some incredibly fast guys here and you have to bare that in mind. In fact they are some of the fastest GT5'ers out there.

Just focus on what you are doing and keep the improvements you have been doing in the last few weeks. It takes weeks if not months to truly get used to a wheel after using a controller. You are doing really well.

Just keep practicing and race your race not theirs

Men, we have a conundrum.

How about no weather, no weather change, but 25% track surface at race start?

I'll get behind this, I love me some adverse weather. Just adds to the excitement imo.

Joe I'm down for 3 PM, I usually sleep past 10 anyway...

This is what the stewards arrived at this week with the complaints that were filed.

Tezgm Level 1 penalty for 4 pts. and one week probation

Hillracing Level 1 penalty for 3 pts. and one week probation

moi_2122 Level 2 penalty for 5 pts. and two weeks probation

With this, and as soon as I make the changes in the google doc, the past weeks results will be official. I'm sure zero will be along to make a nice neat post about it.

Edit: If you have any questions, please PM your division steward.

If we race at 3 a few pro f1 guys will show up. Good thing it's spec

I'd like to sign up if you decide on 3pm Eastern. Can't think of a better way to get ready for the Belgian Grand Prix - other than to stuff my face with Belgian waffles! :P

.... hey, this is a good pg rated Site. Keep it clean.

I am scared to see how fast people are at spa. It is a track I do not feel fast. I feel like I am probably 5-7 seconds slower than what the fast times will be:(

Stewards, thanks for your taking the time to review the incidents from Sunday night. Your work is very much appreciated. 👍

SNAILs, I've updated Sunday's results post to reflect the adjustments from the penalties. When I get up in the morning, I'll announce the overall divisions winners for the August season. 👍

I would like to know what app to use to do this. Is it an iPad app, or what?

Thanks!

Instruction for use are there too. Easier then running normal bspec stuff. just set remote race in stand by mode, load up the app, then goto work, or bed, or just let it go for days. I have three accounts and just rotate through them and grind my other accounts racers. it will get you a ton of credits and level your bspec and racers levels rather quickly. You can adjust who you "grind" and how many of their racers to "grind."

Edit: beaten by Rally...

Here is the GTPlanet thread that discusses the app: B-Spec Grinder

Basically, it's a Yahoo Widget that logs into your PSN (as an emulated web browser) and runs races through the gran-turismo.com Remote Race functions. So you leave your PS3 on with GT5 loaded in Remote Race with the Remote Server engaged.

I use my secondary PSN account to do this, as only one of it's races can run at a time. However, it is running up to six of your main account (and your friend's) racers at a time :)

P.S. it works great on Win and Mac :):):)

That bspec grinder is the most efficient way to earn credits. I started using it last February, I think, and have been credit capped enough that I've been able to buy every car in the NCDs, OCD & UCD by the beginning of summer. At this time, lacking about 10 cars outside the special editions, which I will not be able to get.

The only real problem with it is the fact you have to leave your ps3 on, essentially unattended, for an extended time to fully take advantage. If you have any doubts about the reliability of your ps.....

When I first started using the grinder my ps didn't get turned off for three straight weeks. Was a bit nervous about it. Haven't used the grinder in about 3 months. If anyone would like me to grind your main account send fr to DragonScotch and I'll fire it back up.

Anyone that wants to use my bobs please go ahead. They need some credits bad.

Send a FR to "pilmat", the grinder is in full swing! And will be until tomorrow night. Then it is off until Monday.

Sorry for the double post, but it's 2 different subjects :)

I ran the Evo IV around Tsukuba MotoGP to test the waters and didn't find it bad at all. SUre it wallows a bit and the breaks are not great, but the overall balance is OK and it doesn't bite you. The car is not broken in (only 8 offline miles on it) but has an oil change, and I can do high 1.08s consistently on Sport Hard tires.

PD did implement MotoGp into Tsukuba, but only half it seems. The penalty system works here (in ghost mode):

But not here:

Admittedly the second photo is not fast but is a possible race condition.

That would be awesome... except Yahoo Widgets went offline as of April 11, 2012. :ouch:
