Save the decals you like, ie: Michelin to a favorites folder under another car, then get in the Ferrari and apply the desired decals from that favorites folder.

Were you looking at the Ferrari? They're kind of jerks about licensing and don't allow everything on their cars.

Yes exactly right. Went to do the ferrari and noticed that.
I saw this when Livering the 458 too.

Well, in a similar fashion I was thinking, I am sure all of those brand names that had to open their wallets to be highlighted in those 3 folders to now being wide open for free for any brand anyone wants to upload.

As long as it's tasteful you are free to do what you want. Remember you are representing Snail. We (and Sony for that matter) will frown upon stuff that is in bad tatste.
Bad tatste is in my blood....plus it tatstes bad.
You know that little kid peeing decal that so many people have? I saw it on the decal list so it's in-game now. Same with the stupid "shocker" hand. If I come across anyone online with those types of decals I'll know what I'm getting into :P
What's a shocker??? Never mind, looked it up. Ewww, I thought Tospaz  might like that. Don't knock it till you try it. I still don't know what the other two fingers are for tho..........oh, wait, I'm the one supposed to be doing it??? Sorry, my bad.

Quick question is their a thread for whats allowed and not with liveries. I am going to be doing them tonight and want to be sure they will be ok.

directly related this is the warning from the PSN GTS link to upload SVG files

* The maximum size for the SVG file you can upload is 15KB.
* SVG version 1.0 and 1.1 compatible. Please see Online Manual for other conditions.
* Uploading discourteous or illegal content is forbidden. Uploading such content may lead to a warning or your Sony Entertainment Network account being suspended temporarily or permanently.
(For a safe and comfortable environment, please see https://www.playstation.com/network/legal/terms-of-service/)

Yet, the "shocker" is an in-game option.... good ole corporate world. what we say we stand for behind curtain #1; what we actually stand for right out on the main stage.

*steps down from soap box*

Oh, I thought DP meant is was like a built in option. I retract my comment if that's the case.

It seems that you can pretty much upload anything.. thus my comment about all the other 'non in game' brands that have appeared by user decals.

Anything from McDs, Sodas, Airlines, Cartoon Figures, etc. I just uploaded my first to SVG files.

Anyone around for practice ?

Promotion and relegation is completed for next season and the drivers list has been updated. The list is subject to change based on the number of time trials submitted by new drivers between now and tomorrow night. If any drivers change divisions between now and then, I will post the changes and tag those drivers.

All drivers that have submitted a time trial have been placed in a division. Please check the list for your assignment.

All drivers should check the list as there were changes to some drivers division assignments. Don't be the guy that shows up in the wrong division on Sunday night. The priority order could also come into play during this season so I would suggest that everyone brush up on what that entails. It's in the SNAIL OLR Policies and Guidelines thread which you all have stated you read and agreed to when you ran your time trial or earlier for some.

Finally, good luck and good racing Sunday night.

Any hints on how to use or program any of the G27 wheel buttons using a CRONUS max adapter?

I have to use a down arrow on my stick-shift control panel.

Fortunately, in some cars I can use the in cockpit view, others seem to give me a vertigo or naseau inducing sensation in turns. Not as big an issue in those.

Hey all, relative new guy here asking n00b question... Please forgive me if it's out of place and point me in the right direction if appropriate! I did search, but "penalties" pulls up 10 pages of results... most of which have nothing to do with penalties.

Questions about penalties... It says in the P&G that "A level 1 penalty will bring a 1 week probation period; level 2 brings 2 weeks, etc."

Timing of reducing penalties seems to be based on level, not points. So... what's the point of points? What's the difference between a 9 point level 3 penalty and a 12 point level 3 penalty?

The level of penalty determines the number of weeks of probation the driver receives. The number of points is what they lose for the night that they committed the penalty. The range of points in each level allows the stewards some flexibility for similar, but different, incidents. Example: A borderline dive bomb where the offending driver almost had overlap but didn't quite get there would be penalized at 9 points. A dive bomb from three car lengths back could be penalized at 12 points. Both are dive bombs but they are not equal.

BTW, last night I noticed that Nurburgring GP is configured differently that in GT6. Two of the most noticeable are at Turn 1 there are cones on the exit left side and at the Chicane the cubes are gone, however at the exit corner there is a Pylon. I am assuming that these delimit track boundaries and they are not meant to be touched right?

Practice room tonight?

Planning to open one up at the usual Snail time... but I am sure they will be a few others already open on the 'side'.

As per the SNAIL OLR, cones and pylons are never to be contacted.

I don't get it. This is not the first time in a practice room, the race started and I got dropped only for the room to go dark and never show in the lobby again. Will reset all hardware one more time. Then I'll hope there is an overflow room.

EDIT : Maybe Sunday. Rooms pretty full, don't care to overload it.
