Apologies to everyone for my stupid driving in the first race at GVS....I was terrible and I think I hit everything bar the pitwall :ouch:
 
Good racing tonight, had a few incidents with some cars, but none to where I'm going to file a complaint. no big deal, honestly. I would like to change my vote from 1 to 3, after realizing how much I hated the Ferrari.

before tonight's races start in a few minutes, i'll report that there was a small error in the results last week. Kuulkriine was not given credit for pole in one of the rounds so he fell short of a perfect score. However, it was discovered later that he indeed get pole in all three rounds and he also won all six races. Therefore, he achieved the perfect 100!

Congrats kuulkriine on your dominant performance in d5 last week!!

Therefore it has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since dangerzone641 wins Prize A, he gets to decide which car and track will replace it.

The round that received the second most votes was:
ROUND 1 - Mazda Atenza Sport 25Z '07 @Road Course - Daytona
Therefore, either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since iroquois-- gets Prize B, he gets to decide which is replaced and what replaces it.

Price C goes to Astrias so he gets any gift car ticket listed here.

I hope all went well.

Maybe I am woozy, but the idea of going "Back to the Future" gives me chills of goofy fun. Too bad you can only change the wheels. The Sprinter Trueno looks different from what we have run. Any way ya spin it, a big "Congo-Ratz" to the winners, I hope to be the Sunday, though It will be a birthday, so I will have to see if they are doing anything that I have to pay attention to.

Speaking of which, I forgot to change the note at the bottom of the results post last night to indicate that this week's Prize A and Prize B selections can include OCD cars. I've just changed that portion of the note to blue in order to better remind me to update that each week.
 
Ok. So, I think I will blast out another advert for the SNAIL Touge event I'm trying to start. If I can manage to get enough interest I'll post up a full rules and requirements post. If anyone is interested in intense, bumper to bumper, one on one, mountain pass, initial d style racing, please post your interest.

I'd be interested in joining from time to time… unfortunately I've never got a clear idea of what's going on in an evening until it's upon me.
 
I got disconnected last night had a blast even way at the back of the pack. I dont think i caused to much trouble but if i did shoot me a pm so i can get things sorted for next week.
 
I just wanted to point out the fact that of the top six drivers in D1 this week, five of them were GT Academy finalists. Which begs the question; what the heck I am doing there? Seriously though, we do have some of the best drivers in Gran Turismo, and S.N.A.I.L. is becoming the place to race!

It's pretty cool. What I want to see is how many of the top 32 finalists in 2013 are S.N.A.I.L.s:). Perhaps at some point there should be an Academy training/practice group. I am also curious how other current S.N.A.I.Ls did in 2012.
