Yeah have yall raced that one yet?

Check this out.

It has all the previous combos and distinct car/track combinations. As well as the distinct cars and tracks and number of times they've been raced. There's also a list of all the premium cars, their pp, hp and tires and number of appearances in S.N.A.I.L. Scroll to the right for all the different views.

We (I) like data :)

I would like to join
Hey martin20az

Thanks for your interest! We would love to have you in the series. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You run the Time Trial. (NOTE: The tires selected for this have more grip than our current tire regulations allow, but please follow the directions exactly anyways).
2. You PM kcheeb with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
3. We assign you to the division that we feel will give you the closest competition.
4. We send you a you a PSN friend request from the corresponding SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That PSN account's lounge is where you will race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

Please note that we often race DLC from three add-on packs:

Racing Car Pack
Course Pack
Twin Ring Motegi Pack

If you don't have these add-on packs, you will need to sit out the races in which they are used.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

Apparently, someone bitc... filed a complain against me regarding last sunday's races. Where can i find news regarding that case?

Ah, Schmiggz, I can always expect you to fully demonstrate your maturity and class in cases like this.

lol, you know me handlebar... i hate cry babies but already got informed that i wasn't subject of any complaint. Was a mistake.👍

Care to explain how you mistakenly thought that a complaint was filed against you? Normally I wouldn't make an issue of it, but since you took the opportunity to soil our thread with foul language and name-calling, I'd like to know what caused it.

Anyway a complaint is not to make racers angry, but for making all happy and confortable to race. Sorry for who's I made uncorfortable sunday.

Jeez, i was just being sarcastically humouristic regarding a issue that doesn't bother me one bit. I was msgd by management with a race complaint that had no name on it but it came to my mail box and.... i knooooooooowwww, i should't bring this issues to the thread and i apologize.:grumpy:

The 2000gt is cool. It def takes some getting used to.. I haven't changed the oil yet, but 4 laps dropped me from a 2:19 to a 1:55. She likes to oversteer that's for sure. I think proper gear selection and careful braking will make all the difference here.

It's gonna be a one and done IMHO. ;)

Can i get a car change to Honda Integra Type R '04 (DC5) (RM) @Cape ring north

Prize A Selection

Toyota 2000GT '67 @ Trial Mountain Reverse

Thanks for the suggestion Speed, very nice combo. 👍
Old cars are just more fun than their modern counterparts and this sweet looking ride is no exception.
Great car/track combo, Trial Mountain with a slower car should makes up for some close racing. 👍

EDIT: Car is on sports hards obviously (It would have been so awesome with comforts softs) and it doesn't need breaking in, just an oil change and off you go.

Thanks for making your Prize Selections so quickly! (and sorry that I couldn't keep up).. The March 24th lineup has been posted! :gtpflag:

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can see the sender of any message that comes to you, no?

Either you're really bad at sarcastic humor or my sense of humor is awful. Regardless, please keep foul language off this thread, whether you think it's funny or not. Thanks for understanding.

Also, please PM me who from "management" messaged you about a complaint. I'll get to the bottom of it.

Doh! I screwed up the lineup! Didn't notice that the Integra RM was selected. Thanks badger for catching that!

EDIT: The lineup has been corrected with the RM version of the Integra. 👍

can someone help me (and maybe some others) with a few tips on how to drive FF quickly?

It seems like the integra just kinda goes where you point it, and that's about it... Anyway to induce some oversteer entering or exiting a corner???

That's why I suggested renaming it to After Action Review, or something less negative[WIKIPEDIA][/WIKIPEDIA]. People see "complaint" and take it personal.

Should be on the grid for this week! It'll be good to be back racing again now that this semester is over for me and I've got some time.

The short answer is trail braking. Emphasize rotation over mid-corner speed. I kinda like Alex Lloyd's direction here.

Hmmm... There have been a few false starts on the argument of the week. I will be glad when the sun shines full and we can all recover from the winter crazies and the touch of cabin fever. Until that time arrives, I am starting an argument about the 1970 Chevelle. WTF! Every incarnation of GT has always catered to the '70 with the 454... Big Whiff!! What the @#$% is wrong with the '69?? I want to see a '69 396ss or (much better) the Yenko 427!!! I think the '69 is a much better looking and handling machine then that piece of ....... Such silliness!

Sorry for that, I am still feeling pretty good about Sunday night and it seems Mondays, although I'm not behind the wheel, are becoming more and more enjoyable. My Monday consists of watching the latest episode of Top Gear UK (even though I do watch Top Gear US, Jeremy, James and Richard are just so much more fun to watch) and then entering the previous evenings race data. I am really enjoying this as I get to re-live Sunday nights action via replays and the associated data. I have a few ideas but nothing solid on how to promote the Magic Spreadsheet. The Race Results spreadsheet is pure genius and a wealth of information. There are many souls that spend time collecting the data and as racers, you all need to check it out. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aiw0Wxz2StbPdHFuVHowLThUN2dnSzRtUDF4S21NSUE#gid=52

Anyhoo, back to Sunday night... Most likely the best (and weirdest) night I have had in SNAIL so far. I collected my 4th career win and my first pole!! To top that off, I came in second overall and missed my first overall win by a mere 10 points... (Pyxen!!:ouch:) I have to say, it was an exceptionally cool night of racing! I am so fired up for next week... I just need to learn how to set up passes better. All in good time. I am still learning.

That is my groove for this week. Thanks to the D4 gang and all who keep this going. I also want to pile in a special welcome to Jester into the D4 fold. You raced well and we truly appreciate your photography! Excellent work! Since Wolf left, we have been picture barren... Jester and Wolf are doing so well with the photo scene, I would love to see a SNAIL photo competition develop in the future! (I have some ideas on this too!)

Good night gentlemen and look forward to seeing you on the track!!

I was able to send over the Level 24 ticket too! Let me know if you didn't receive it.

I did get it. Thank you zero. It was the F10 '10. And thanks Oshawa for the donation...I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I was really hoping that random bday ticket was gonna be the miura prototype, or the Ford mk4 :guilty:

Still happy tho!:)
