What's the pace I'm d2? I'm thinking if I'm still fast enough that I'm coming back tonight.
Not sure the laps have been figured yet or not, here's what I'm thinking anyone disagree?
Trial Mountain - 5 laps
Cape Ring North - 7 laps
Trial Mountain is a close one, I think. Six laps would run a bit over 11 minutes, but five is well under 10. What's the thinking in this situation?

Depends on how close, not sure how many seconds the start will take. We usually try to do at least 10 minutes and have gone over 11 before.
Just did a 9:38 from standing start, should be 6 laps
Add to that the fact that this will be my first year properly farming...
May you produce much fruit.
After much deliberation I've decided that I'm not going to make it tonight… furthermore, I'm probably not going to be racing anytime in the near future.
My life has become extremely hectic. I knew this time was coming but I guess I kept hoping that I wouldn't miss any racing from it. That's probably why this notice is so late.
We recently sold our house so that we could move from our acreage to a beautiful farm. The farm is not improved at all, or at least wasn't until we got power on the property last week. We've been working on putting in a well and a septic system in advance of moving a mobile home to the property to live in until we could get our permanent house built.
We close on our home in just over two weeks. The county has given us a really hard time about moving the mobile home to the property, so now it may be three weeks before they let us move into that, and the contractors are all going slower than we'd hoped, partly due to the colder and snowier than average late winter/spring that we've been having. Therefore we–my wife two kids and I–get to move in with my parents for a couple of weeks.
Add to that the fact that this will be my first year properly farming and all of the things involved with getting that started, the fact that my job as a writer is being doubled up on right now because the magazine I write for suddenly needs their articles a month earlier, and the fact that I take care of my children day and night and you can begin to see how busy I am.
I felt way off the pace last week even after having gotten a bit of practice. I haven't turned GT5 on since racing last Sunday, so I'm not going to try to fight it tonight.
Anyway, that's my story. I hope to be back sooner rather than later, but I don't even know what options are actually available for internet at our new place. I fear that it may be worse than what I have now…which is just on the low edge of adequate.
The last year of races has been a wonderful experience. Like I said, I hope that I can come back soon, but even if it takes several months I hope that SNAIL is still going strong and that I can jump back in.
Until then, though, thanks for the races.
Ap, man, I hope you at least stick around the forum. We would all miss your banter and opinions. At least I know I will. Never afraid to hang the hard truths out there. Good luck getting the house/farm thing setup and running. I know all to well the frustrations of waiting on a house and a job, though not in quite the same manner. We've been waiting on the bank for a short sale and waiting to hear back on a job offer doing java programming for the state of Michigan's bridges program. Now I may not get the job as there has been a hiring freeze and no one is sure where the company contracted to program for the state stands in that freeze. That said, you're going to be missed for sure, I hope you get back in the seat sooner then later, with a surprisingly better internet provider,
Heh. While I could write a 5000 word diatribe arguing against conventional and "proper" farming, I won't.
Suffice it to say that I'm farming a mere 135 acres and intend to make a living doing it. Also suffice it to say that I'll never own new/modern equipment and will never sit back and watch a screen while farming and I plan to go far beyond conventional farming. I'm headed for pure sweat equity and I can't wait.
In D1 practicing.

great time tonight in D4!! Thanks for the close racing
Spectacular night of racing!! Collected career wins 5 and 6!! First time I have ever won two in a single night. Nice work this week Pyxen!! On race 5, about the 4th lap, you tucked inside a slid right by me... I, on the other hand spazzed out trying not to hit you or the rocks to our left... Nice pass dude! Next week gonna be another barn-burner!! Thanks to the D4 crowd for yet another awesome night of racing!!
