That is a problem especially for people driving in cockpit view in cars with mad blindspots
If in doubt, pull it out.
That advice goes way beyond racing.
I'll have to stick around the thread just for this kind of thing…
With a name like Ricky Bobby we better be going to Daytona in stock cars.
Or a Corvette.
Or stock cars at any track.
Why? Because race car.
A Photo essay of a clean defensive entrance defeated by a clean offensive (possibly in more ways than one) exit.
While I'm no Snailien or expert in any way, I'd been practicing this line for 3 weeks on this combo and it finally worked to my advantage. Admittedly, I think Pyxen didn't quite get the corner he was trying for, which helped quite a bit with the success in this case.
Last corner of last lap.

If I never get another pass as righteous as this one, I can still take the long dirt nap a happy man.
So, I'm watching replays becasue it's part of my job as a steward here and when I finished with the official stuff, I went back and watched the last two laps of Race 2 in Division 1. I won this race and held off WorstDriver for two full laps.
I want to take a minute and thank WorstDriver for having the amount of skill that he has as he was able to avoid my sideways-bouncing off walls self for a good chunk of those two laps. I was driving as hard as I ever have in this game to try and keep him behind me. It was the best prolonged battle I have ever been a part of. No offense to Vail here as we have had some epic battles as well. This was in a class all by itself. I hope I have the opportunity to be in that position again.
*shakes fist!!!* Drrraaaaagonnnnn!!

Very exciting night here at the Owens' house, I finished one of my many projects.
PC Sim racing is in the very near future for Jeff of Owens Racing.
I would like to ask dabneyd if he received my message!!
dabneydYes, just now. Sorry, I went to bed early last night.
Well done. 👍Last turn Deep Forest

A few words on apexes. While it's possible my understanding is limited, here's what I've found.
There are 3 Apexes to every turn;
The Mathematical Apex;
The point at which, if you stood the curve vertically, it is neither physically rising nor falling
The Apex;
The point(s) at which the object traversing the curve is closest to the innermost side,
The Racing Apex;
The one most of us are interested in almost exlusively and is the point at which you can mash the gas to 100% and not fly off the track in a squeal of rubber and crunch of sand or swish of grass.
TRA is often used in conjunction with TA but rarely do either work well with TMA.
OK. Done trying to be profound. Heckle as you please.
