@FlipJ just made me think I must be approaching a year in SNAIL, so I just checked my request to join post and it was exactly a year ago today! Wow, where did that time go!

Seeing as @msgt-sd went to all the trouble of his amazing spreadsheet, here is my first year with SNAIL:
197 total races
2518.5 points
1 season win
6 nightly wins
39 race wins
86 podiums
17 poles

It has been a fun time and I have met a bunch of really great people, some I would like to think have become as good a friend as could be without ever actually meeting.

I would personally like to thank @zer05ive, @JLBowler, @Dragonwhisky, @CoachMK21 for their time and leadership they put into this league.
Plus guys like @Rednose58 amd @msgt-sd and the like who put in a ton of time, and to the stewards and all the team SNAIL members.
Cheers all.

Well, my stats are nowhere NEAR as impressive, but I also would like to thank @zer05ive not only for creating SNAIL way back when but for the work ever since, @JLBowler for his unrelenting efforts in making SNAIL possible, @Dragonwhisky (second time this week I had to thank him, actually), @CoachMK21 (also second time this week of giving thanks), @Rednose58 for incredible visuals, @msgt-sd's data collection and organisation - seriously, it's amazing, @Falango's always relevant contributions, @nmcp1's incredible response time and on track help, @TEX36 for being an inspiration and the proof that you can have lots of years on your back, but you never have to get old, @Engmatic1 for hosting the greatest nights outside of Sundays, all my fellow D8, oops, D7 peeps, the aliens that make us want (but never quite manage) to go faster and faster and faster and everyone that races hard but clean, making it possible to enjoy our little corner of the GT world so much.

All hail the SNAIL.

I'll join but I don't think Spa will load for me. I'll have to quit game and rejoin when you switch to Grand Valley Speedway

Been a busy first few days of the week but i have managed to put a littlw slideshow of sunday's races. this time i haven't been able to do a running comment so bare with me and enjoy.

Can you post this in you tube to share it via the Racing Google Plus communities?

Great work @Engmatic1 I really enjoyed the song as well. I'll be jumping into practice as soon as I get pinked up!
Edit: if you are still on

Very interesting exercise by the Toro Rosso rookies:

Interesting how Sainz goes extremely smoothly and Max kinda visualises corrections and little adjustments as well.

Also, he's 17!!! 17! I'm amazed every time I remember this. Damn it, I know 2 dudes that raced with his dad. I watched his dad in F1! How can I have gotten so old so fast?!?

I haven't been able to check the thread for the last 24 hours or so because I've been buried in work. Just when I couldn't be more stressed and frustrated with work, I decided I had to step away and take a break. I've just caught up on the thread and just wanted to thank all you guys for putting things in perspective. Sometimes we need reminders on what's really important, and today's posts definitely did just that. Life if precious - value every day and don't take anything for granted. Also, nurture the relationships in your life - they are what make living worthwhile.

Anyways, sorry for the sappiness.. I was just really moved by the stories and the insights posted today. I also love it any time this league creates opportunities for us to meet in real life like @McTrucker and @TomMang_68 did over the weekend. It's crazy how something that was started on a whim has, with the dedication of so many of us, grown into something more than just a racing league - something that parallels many aspects of our real lives. All in all, this may be my favorite day's worth of posts ever made on this thread.

@zer05ive coach got his polo shirt 1st ?when's everything else getting shipped out ??
Sorry, I only shipped his out because I was shipping the copy of GT6 that we won anyways. I'm waiting for all the other sponsorship swag to come in so that I can ship everything out together (and save on shipping costs). This should be happening very soon. I'm also upgrading all of the sponsorship packages as a way of saying sorry for the delay. Thanks for your patience, but I promise it will be worth the wait.

For the Expert level seasonals on Tsukuba with the Miata's, i used the Miata we use during Monday Night Pack racing and put on a Stage 3 Engine Tuning, Sports Exhaust and High RPM Range Turbo Kit which put the Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package '89) at 450PP/237HP, CS tires. Lead the pack by the 5th lap.
