Ok guys, enough drama. We have a really good series going on Mondays. It's not broken, not by a long shot. If the powers that be decide a change is warranted, they will make that change. Word is finally getting out about how much fun we have. There's a lot of higher division guys that are regulars in this series that are just there to have fun racing door to door. All tracks have places where passing is not a good idea, but racing through corners side by side without touching is part of the thrill for me, especially with guys I am comfortable racing side by side with.
I really like the cars we race, I know the Eunos inside and out, It does what I want, most of the time, I have more miles on it than any other car by far. Roadster is a blast wherever it's raced, Man, that car on the Sierra track without the chicanes produced the most sphincter tightening races ever for me. Get a partner and bump draft all the way down the straight. Priceless. The Toyaburu, meh, I like to drive cars that won't ever be in my real garage. Fun racing in the pack, but if I had to give up one, this would be it.
Point is, a little tweaking to better the series is a good thing, but why replace cars that all the regulars like. And there is no one more regular than me. Wait, that didn't sound right, true though. I don't think I have missed a night since the series started and would give up the Sunday league before giving up the pack.
Now, if only we can get Deal to wait till the race is over before blabbing about how good he will be with his new wheel......... The imaginary wheel. Lol. i was fighting a battle with Penguin, again, and Deal is telling a story about how his armadillo was going in for a nail trim.........or something like that anyway. Very distracting. Great enthusiasm my friend.
