What is the deal with the frequency these days in which people feel Exceptions to rules should be made?

The non-PC answer is... Because he doesn't want to.

We typically don't announce changes until they are in effect. We felt it was appropriate, given the financial impact, to "give everyone a warning" that the price cap would be increased. This way everyone would be able to raise the necessary funds to purchase up to 4 million credits in cars in a given week.

The clarification on the rules has already been posted by @USERID_77a23 here:

He won the prize in February, he is bound by February regulations

Because in this instance this rule seems to cross into a new rule change timeline. I'm simply trying to understand why it is one way and not the other. And saying because I said so is childish and doesn't sound like something built on a strong foundation. I am simply asking why this is the way it is. I'm not mad or upset about it. I think some might be reading into what I have asked with the wrong impression.

Are you suggesting we go to a fixed room host for the time being? it might be the smart way to go. My only concern is the random drops that sometimes happen, despite having a strong connection setup.
True. I would say its worth a shot. Maybe not Sunday night but for wednesday night for example at like 9:30 try to run a mimic of Sunday night and see how it goes. Have it division wide if possible. Just an idea.

I'd like to join S.N.A.I.L

@mike1327

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

I never get tired of this car. Lots of Pwr, nice over steer into corners, insane brakes. Just wish they made it sound the way a vette sounds when it's built up like this.

Always been one of my favorites, and you'll like the sound/echo it makes at this track during replays. I did.

This. I literally love a Corvette. Z06 more than ZR1, to be honest. Nice. :D

Steward Prize Update

The stewards have completed enough reviews to confirm the prize winners for this week. Thank you to all the stewards that jumped on these IRs and got them reviewed in a very timely fashion.

The prize B winner is @mrnascar242424 . He will first have the option to use the freeze or pass it to the prize C winner and is on the clock as of right now.

The prize C winner is @o8_jedi . He is awaiting a decision from the prize B winner.

Deadline for prize B winner to make a choice to use the freeze or pass it is 10 AM ET Wednesday morning.

Both confirmed prize winners have been included in a conversation notifying them.

o8_jedi has already ended up with prize B once in the month of February. If he were to end up with it again, it would immediately turn over to suggestions from his division with him choosing from those suggestions.
