I'm around today if anybody wants to race and test things out online. Just lemme know here first or send me a PSN message. I have my PS3 on and running so I will see the message. I'm watching the broadcast of the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.
Damn, I wish I checked my messages sooner :ouch:

Going to try and turn some Laps tonight. Good conversation guys. I like the '71 Ferrari at Silverstone. Or any car at Grand Valley
Is that the Dino or GTB4 . GTB we can run one make , everyone else be sure to have the Dino. You should already, it's a great car lol

I had a great time while I was there but it was weird that the game was thinking my Jaguar's PP was 569. I went to the dealership and saw it was much lower and I could tell an oil change would get it to where you guys were at. Mine is the prize car, maybe it's bugged.

What was the reason you couldn't change PP? Did you think my car would somehow be faster than yours?

I backup host that room, the settings are set and not suppose to be changed.. yes, I'm a duck lol

I don't remember what car it was but I had the same problem and had to buy new , with everything off I still had more pp than stock

Strange. We still had great racing in the Impreza Touring Cars. I saved the replay for that first race where I won. I felt like such a badass. Come into a room to join friends I haven't seen in a long time. Proceed to dominate on track like it's nothing. Disappear like a phantom. lol

Yes I had a grand time racing! Bout time, I had almost forgotten what it was to race amongst friends The racecraft becomes contagious spreading to all the racers. One question though, @USERID_77a23 Why was the room name "SnailRacing" ? If that was intentional to recruit racers that's F'n brilliant man! If not please see previous question.

No contact battles, that's when you have real fun

That was an official practice room for another league. I backup host when ever needed and practice is open to the public lobby. It is actually practice for the slow lower divisions, so it doesn't surprise me penguin did well , props buddy.

I was glad to see others racing around me giving me room. I'm pretty sure I was braking into Turns 1 and 2 way later than anyone else thought possible and it caught people off guard at first. But then when I was on the inside they gave me room, knowing I was gonna be faster. Too bad I couldn't be part of the Jaguar race. I watched and it was just as tight. Good track choice.

Coming right off the Watkins Glen weekend I've been trying to find a track that is very similar and R246 is very close in terms of having most of the turns be high speed, but it's got no runoff area so it's tougher. I really like Twin Ring Motegi Road Course. That's a fast fun track.

Anyone gonna be on tonight?

👍

I'm available now. I just have to set up the wheel. I don't have any in-game money right now to get cars I don't have. I've been lazy today and didn't get the urge to play against the crappy AI lol

All it took was an hour or two of good, clean stock spec racing and I was happy. That's the only thing I need to make my GT6 experience a pleasurable one. I just need more cars lol

Get the small list above at least. I hope we all have those so we can make our own spec/one make races and feel free any/all to mention a car you want us all to have to be able to race whenever really . you may have seen as long as the majority jump into the same car a lot of racers don't mind and are quick to go buy the car .MO is buy a lot of sports cars 400-500pp range. Leave them stock, only oil change. I am usually able to find decent stock rooms quite easily. I guess that only helps if that's the style you like . If it's race cars I have no clue how to find a room. lol

You mean buy all the cars you guys have raced with so far? Okay.

I prefer race cars for the extra grip so you can really push hard and see what a car is made of. Like taking a 458 Italia and putting it on RH tires. Below 550PP can be on Sports Soft.

I'll make a list of the cars I like using most.

This was the throw together list

Frs/brz/86gt
Dino
Integra type R dc2 99
Civic type R '01
Scirocco R '10
Cooper S '11
Clio R.S.
S2000 '06
Rx-8 type S
Elise 111R
Nsx 99
Rx-7 type R Bathurst
Nsx type R
Corvette zr-1 '90
Rgt '00
Gt300s
WSR 1983
Rocket vs fireblade
Viper acr '08

I like racing people more than doing hot laps , lower pp tends to bring some real wheel to wheel action , thats what I like
We will stick to the star tyre model for pp

Agree with user. Race cars on race tires don't promote good racing. Sports cars on street tires do. The best, closest racing always occurs with the low pp cars on comfort tires. 300-450pp is the sweet spot. To me the sign of a good race is everyone finishing within 10 seconds of the leader and multiple lead changes. The slower the car, better reaction time and more 2 and 3 wide battles. Max fun

Race cars on race tires is just a different type of racing but I get what you're saying and agree. It's not the racing we are looking for. We're not professionals, just friends trying to have fun. A good race is not even multiple lead changes but multiple position changes in general. Just need wide tracks to allow for 3 wide to happen often and safely.

I'll look into that list USER, thanks.

I like it , even going as low as 300pp. I was afraid if I suggested that low I'd lose people. Lol

I like a spec miata race but the track has to be right. No long straights that slow the action.
What's that , the 89 Eunos roadsters NA package or something ??, premium model just for you hahsha
Give the exact car you want , and others here will get the same one

If you need more cars you need to grind daily. Nothing serious just 15-30mins will bring in 1-1.5M Cr. if your doing it right. 👍

Well we were talking about premium cars so I figured you knew I meant the newest premium version. The I think it's '07 which is sad but yea. We need a version with the new fascia. It's meaner.
