I've reviewed 3 TT's so far and all of them were setup and run perfectly. đź‘Ť
You know, I was thinking Lessen has to put a lot more work into this than we do. There's a huge time commitment to view all our time trials, then crunch the numbers to divide the divisions. If he can invest that much into this league, we can figure out how to do the recorded uploads. Thank you for your hard work Lessen. đź‘Ť

Lessen, if you don't mind, just an off topic, off snail quick question...
Anyone considering joining the AOR North America GT3 league wants to also consider joining me as team mate driving the Mercedes AMG GT3, aka "the new one"?

Never had this happen before. Went to create lobby and in the synchronizing screen, it stopped and I got a message "failed to create a lobby". Anyone else ever get this?

Yep, plenty of times. Then 2 minutes later it works. I think it's just reacting to a sketchy internet connection??

Drivers,

Voting results have been tallied and the results are in!

The Scion FR-S has been replaced with the Lotus Type 49 Cosworth. The Lotus' will first visit Barcelona at the Catalunya GP Circuit. Full voting results and schedule below.

As a general reminder, Season 11 (starts June 7th) brings forth the prerequisite that all drivers must submit a one-time Time Trial. All active drivers tagged at the bottom of this post still need to submit a TT in order to race on league nights. For TT instructions please see the spoiler in the original post (OP) of this thread.

For Season 11, the following divisional placement shall be utilized IF driver counts deem it necessary to hold two lobbies.

With that said, I am looking for a D2 volunteer who can host/score league nights as necessary.

I got my new G29 set up last night, and as I have tried the T300 not that long ago, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the two.
First off, you notice the familiar Logitech feel, quite similar in feel to the G27. It is definitely quieter and has a smoother feel to it. The FFB is better and it still rumbles over the curbs but nowhere as annoying as the G27. I found the car control to be better, but I think the GIMX emulator running the G27 had something to do with that. As for the G29 itself, I find it to be a little tight as far as room for my hands, and buttons not as easy to reach, ie left and right views. I do like the grippier feel on the 29 but find the two protrusions on the inside of the wheel to be more intrusive than the 27. The T300 has it beat in this respect, it feels more natural and roomier and a couple of buttons fall easier to the thumbs, but the grip isn't as good, that is just because of the material used on the wheel. I found the T300 FFB to be a fair bit stronger feeling, but not as good at giving feedback from bumps and curbs. I also like the feel of the paddles better on the 29, engagement is less travel and they have a smoother feel than the 300.
Everyone is on the same page when it comes to the pedals, the 29's being way superior to the stock 300's. As far as compared to the 27, the 29's are identical other than a rubber damper they put in the bottom of the brake spring. It is a weird feel as you can depress the brake pedal very easily all the way until it gets to the rubber damper, this seems to give full braking just to the point of wheel lockup, but there is just no progressive feel at all up until that point, then you have to suddenly press a lot harder to get that next bit of braking done. As the springs are identical I will be putting the GTEye spring in the new pedals today and moving the others around. The GTEye spring is still a bit stiffer than I would like but it is way better than stock.
I can live without the shifter for now but will probably add it later. It sure is nice to just fire up the PS4 and be ready to go, other than having to boot up the laptop and start the GIMX software each time.
I made the decision to buy which ever wheel I could get for $300 first, but I was kinda hoping it would be the G29, as my two previous Logitech wheels always performed well with no issues. Plus purchasing direct from Logitech will be beneficial in the future if anything did go wrong with the unit.
Hopefully with the better car control I can start improving my times, because truth be told, the main reason I upgraded was to get on a more even playing field with one Mr. Lobban, as my main objective is to go back to like it was in GT6, beating his sorry ***

That's exactly how I would describe it. Mine make a slight click sound when they go past that point. It's weird but does allow me to like you said, brake up to the point of lockup. With ABS off it's nice but otherwise I'm not able to brake as hard as possible as easily as before (DFGT).

What I did was adjust the brake pedal sensitivity to only go up to 75 or so, that way I don't have to push too hard for 100% and potentially break something.

In order to perform and submit your TT you need to:
  1. Start a NEW private message with myself titled "NEW DRIVER TT" requesting car/track information.
  2. Perform your time trial per the outlined procedure stated in the OP.
  3. Provide a link to your uploaded video in the same private conversation.

Well now you have a better wheel so you have no excuse :)
