Great race tonight, guys! It was awesome to see so many people make it out. And holy crap was SprintCupChamp1 fast! Congrats on the win (even if you aren't an official Turtle at the moment :sly:). Also, thanks for telling him he was down on horsepower, Racing... :P I maybe could have kept up with him otherwise.

Finally, thanks to Psycho for reviving TRL. We worked hard to keep it going while you were gone, but it clearly shows how much of an influence you've had on the community when we get so many people to show up. :cheers:

Yes, it was a great race. In fact, I would say it was one of our best and that is really saying something because we have had some really amazing ones. We are set for an entire years worth of racing, we have a lot to look forward to. Congratulations to SprintCupChamp1 for a brilliant race. I'm glad you enjoyed the race Dolph, that's what makes the effort worth it. Thanks for a great race guys!

We didn't practice. I never even got on the track.
 
Thanks for a fun race tonight.

Even though I was not a competition for most on the grid, I was able to have a relatively clean race (save a few times I ran off the track). I was also fending off/slowing down mbobb1969 and Titanzdude for some period (I hope I wasn't causing any infractions).

Then at some point, I noticed RacingOtaku pit and all the sudden behind me. Not sure what happened... To summarize, because of other's unfortunes, I ended up getting 12th.

I'll try to make it for the Spa, and see if I can keep up with more of you (my feeling is no, but I need start somewhere in order to improve, right?)

On that replay it looks like I might have driven through you. But, I T-Boned you and got drivetrain damage and damage to both front wheels. Yikes!

You did fine kelrick85. I'm sure mbobb1969 and Titanzdude enjoyed the battle. We're glad you enjoyed the race and we look forward to racing with you again.

We add and extra lap to make sure everyone gets a time. In practice the fuel is how much to fill up. In a race it does change to how much to finish the race. I'm pretty sure it was that way even in GT5.

Right. Well TRL was not adding laps before. I don't really care whether you do or not but it doesn't say that in the rules so there was no warning.

The fuel thing was not like that win I was winning races in TRL when GT6 came out *shrug*

Adding a lap to make sure others were able to finish the race before it timed out had nothing whatsoever to do with how you raced or where you finished. That was based on skill level. The way you handled how you raced and where you finished was based on maturity level.

I dont get your frustration, the last lap didn't count, it was still a 10 lap race. Then we just parked it waiting for others to finish. (Or drove around goofing off really, and chatting for a few more minutes while we did the parade lap). Even if you put the fuel in the game recommended, that would only have cost you an extra second or two. I think mine recommended 26 liters, but i only put in 15. So the extra 11 liters would not have cost anyone much.

Sorry if that wasn't clear, i think psycho assumed everyone knew what a "parade" lap was. We'll work on making that clearer for everyone going forward.

And I didn't say it had anything to do with how I raced or finished. I drove like ****. Making changes 2 minutes prior to a race is based on professional level. Stuff like that kills clubs in real life. and i believe lack of organization is what killed TRL first time around. Anyways, like i said i don't care either way, it would have nice to know what the he'll is going on before it happens.

Great race everyone. It was good to get back to racing with everyone again. I hope to see everyone back next Saturday night.
 
btw, for those that don't know the secret, just found out even though tuning is prohibited, you can still adjust torque split.

Gotcha lightning. So sorry about that not being clear pre-race. It was our first race in a while and psycho didnt realize the race would start right away after qualifying.

He wanted to say a few words, but couldn't. We'll learn and get better at the pre-race communication for everyone. I thought you drove great until you wrecked. :lol:;) Just being a schmuck here:mischievous:

Tuning prohibited, so no adjustments other than installing rigidity if desired and torque split (for 4wd vehicles), and engine limiting. Nothing else allowed. We're all in the same boat.

I would give you my best practice lap time, but i haven't been able to do one without spinning out yet :lol:

Race Recap

Congratulations SprintCupChamp1 for a brilliant race and win! DolphDrago and micantony were racing for 2nd in this one. micantony won the battle (8:46.990), but DolphDrago won the war +27.381. BionicDerp and chochocochip5 had one of the best battles for final position I have ever seen with Bionicderp finishing just .247 ahead of chocochocochip5 for 4th place. Psycho-Tuber finished a respectable 6th close behind chocochocochip5 after overcoming a lap 1 incident with Titanzdude which cost him several seconds. Heathenpride was one crash away late in the race from a possible 4th place finish ending up in 7th place with gears1000 not too far behind taking 8th place. DREX81 and lightningdf22b1 had another great battle for final position with DREX81 taking 9th place and lightning22b1 right on his heels for 10th. mbobb1969s fast lap time would suggest a closer finish. mbobb1969 finished 11th in what must have been a very interesting race. kelrick85 had a good race and got some valuable racing experience finishing 12th. RacingOtaku86 raced his own race, his own way and finished 13th in the process. Titanzdude, Titanzdude, Titanzdude.....combustion engines do not run without fuel! Titanzdude finished in 14th place after running out of gas, but he did have a great set of tires for the final 2 laps. It was a great race guys, thank you for coming out and racing in the Turtle Racing League - Flex Racing Series Heathenpride Enduro!

I took a look at the pit exit "incident" there psycho. You really should have just taken the position and run with it. I took waaaayyy too much fuel.Thought I had to have extra for lap 11,so I added 10 liters onto the 25 it was already recommending:dunce:. Didn't realize what I did til it was too late to change it. Then, on the way out I got held up by lightning entering his stall. All you really did was bump me a little, I didn't have to lift or anything.
As for the "lovetaps,"I thought your rear bumper looked better with some of my blue on it...:P

No worries, I honestly don't believe it had any affect on where I finished. Now, about those "lovetaps".....:grumpy: lol
