Agreed there, Couldn't be a hardware issue, otherwise grid starts wouldn't work online, where there is a far greater demand on the hardware, and yet, its there.

the PS3's not having to process all the AI online...

Yep, you can map the RA menu back to the G27 so I assume the G25 as well.

According to the OP, the Mira now has only 183HP fully tuned.
I'm deeply saddened by this.

Other patch details (what we've gathered so far):
- Ascari glitch dead
- 20mil glitch NO LONGER WORKS.
- Glitched garage and credits not affected.
- No multi-monitor options
- No check mark in dealerships for cars stored in stockyard
- BMW m4 now added in recomended cars
- RB kart cost 10k
- X2014 jr 200k
- Added lambo to vgt project
- "Terms & conditions" notification when booting up the game appears to have been corrected.
- RA functions now available for DS3 and supported wheels
- L1/R1 for menu working on DFGT but not on ds3 if plugged in together
- L1/R1 for menu still not working for T500rs, but neither on DS3 if plugged in together.
- Personal music working properly in races. Volume control added as well.
- Aftermarket wheels still bugged for cars with wider rear tires.
- "Real" slipstream option in addition to "Weak" and "Strong."
- "Drivetrain (Transmission)" Changed to "Transmission" in settings menu
- Mira has been fixed, it now has 183 horsepower when fully tuned
- Online lobby names changed to psn ID
- Blur in replays from normal views gone

Just a minor effect I noticed -

When in a base model car or a car/kart your can put your own number on this no longer goes blank when changing in the settings sheet from A to B etc.

Your right, it has to process all of the packets coming in from everyone elses machines. Online racing is way more intensive on the hardware than some AI in the game.

To be honest, I think this was already patched, I bought a Mira and fully tuned it yesterday (or day before), and got nothing like the Monster numbers others have.

So the glitch still works for everyone who already glitched. People who banked loads of VGT or M4 have billions of credits to spend at will. Which was exactly the advice given here for people to prepare for the patch fix.

It doesnt have to process the information it just has to render the information that has already been processed by other peoples PS3. Online is less intensive than AI.

Its hard to do minor tuning changes but still wanting to keep previous changes in case whatever you did made it slower

Guess ill stick to having my ipad next to me, typing down every small changes i make.

HUH? If anything this proves them right....game was designed around Micro transactions, only after did they change it. it effected development.

I don´t think so, GT5 had the same issue, little reward until later updates.
But yeah, microtransactions are annoying, but PD does not encourage it, it just sitting there.

It also still works if you havent downloaded 1.02, you can do the glitch 1 more time before 1.02.

Are you using the ds3 with a wheel plugged in? For me L1/R1 on the ds3 only worked when I unplugged my wheel (t500rs).

Does the Ascari Race Resort shortcut now have invisible walls, or does it just invalidate your lap if you cut?

I really hope they kept invisible walls out. I don't cheat, but I really like knowing the infield is completely open.

The infield is still open but if you use the previous method it won't put you in 1st place like before.

No. The number you put on your car (cars with interchangeable numbers) before update V1.02 would go blank if you changed the setting sheet. Now with the new update the number you put on your car stays. I was unaware of the issue you just mentioned.
