I want to try modding one of my Hot Wheels.. Maybe when I have the time. I need to study for my driver's permit test.

Off topic:

If it's anything like the aussie one you'll blitz it...er.. unless your as dumb as one of my mate's then, um...good luck  He tried once then failed, went back and payed again and retryed and failed the second time aswell. He still hasn't gone back to try to get them and he was allowed to get them since july
One question, do you guys in the states have to get a certain amount of driving hours up before you take a test to get your Provisional licence (next step up/drive without parents)?

Ontopic: I gave my cuda a wirebrushing back and have decide to leave it like that instead of fully polishing it. I painted the motor black and am going to paint the 'butterflies' red. It should be done by tomorrow.

Looked on Ebay and saw it, looks awesome. I'm definately keeping an eye out for that as well as the others at my local Wal-Mart. Wasn't able to find the other cars for that series that you listed from the back of the packaging.

I think these are only available at Target. 👍

Thanks for the tip R1600Turbo, went and looked for them today.

I really want the C4 though.

Glance through the book once and you'll be fine. If you've been paying attention at all growing up while your parents are driving you'll pass, it's all common sense.

Yeah, I already have the road signs part down, it's just all the statistics and facts that I need to study.

Oh my god, how old are you!? I thought you were probably in your 20's!

Haha, dude I'm 15.

Well, last time I spoke... Well it was a long time. My grandfather and I have made it a small family project of making a H.O.-Scale train village. I've been gleaning my various Hot Wheels City sets for buildings and so forth, managed so far to install a fairly-large 3 car gas station, a McDonald's, some telephone poles, and a Postal Delivery Office. As far as cars: a Pierce-Arrow Fire Truck (Matchbox Real Working Rigs.. Looks exactly like our neighbour town's one!), Johnny Lightning 40th Ann. Series '65 Chevelle police car,

and a this little piece, Bread Box.

Perfect scale for the postal office. :D

Hotwheels
On Sunday, my Dad got me a '66 Batmobile, and the other day, my Mum got me a Green and Black Corvette ZR1. For Christmas, my Dad got me a Purple and Green Olds 442 and a kinda orange Chevy Silverado. My Mum got me a Green with a White stripe '67 Pontiac Firebird 400.

Matchbox
A while a go, at the recycling place, I got a almost pristine Matchbox Dump Truck.

Hmm if I can remember HO is 1:8x
while the closest MBX and Hot wheels I could find is 1:70 something.

Its time for:
Siku information you do not really care about, but will have to live through, because I get a page post :sly:

*theme song and clapping*

So Yesterday I just subscribed to the Siku newsletter and I was surprised to find , that they sent me a code for accessing the 2010 preview. However not all pictures are pictures of actual model.

So the first model, that I found interesting was an Audi R8 Spyder. Sadly no picture was provided, but we have google images to save us.

Siku has already made a model of a normal R8 in white
selection_detail_302_1.jpg
and it is a nice looking model with opening doors, plastic headlights (and backlights) and many details.

The next car I found interesting is a Lamburghini gallardo. Now this is interesting, because they will make an italian police version
lamborghini_police_car.jpg

And to me the most surprising was the Gumpert Apollo, since it has gullwing doors, which are always interesting IF siku make them opening.

Other stuff include:
VW scirocco

Dodge charger in three variations:

fun_model_preview_1.108.thumb.460.jpg
fun_model_preview_1.114.thumb.460.jpg

And some other not that interesting stuff

Matchbox/Hotwheels and a few british versions are 1:72 scale, I believe

Quite a difference since HO is 1:87 :/
Okay, it's not 100% like-kind perfect. Getting the real-deal hobby stuff is fricken ridiculous. We scouted out some shops and a correct scale completely plastic fire truck was $29. No thanks.

Charger Cop and Taxi for win.

I got a silver siku 300SL Gullwing, it opens like a Gullwing.

Yeah I had 2
First one was dark blue and the door broke off(and I lost it)
second one is red but has chipped paint(still have

I am thinking of getting the silver one though. Hmmm.

On my way out the door to check some stores for new Hotwheels. Will post finds when I get back. (if I find anything...)

Hahaha. I did a task on all of my cars for school a few years ago. :D

My favourite would have to be a Saleen S7 I have. I got it during the 'Gold Wheel' editons came out. I counted them up a couple of years ago and I had I think 928 of them. Been collecting for 10 years. :D

Nothing out there. Managed to find these:

- Speed Machines Audi TT that I passed up last time
- Ferrari 430 Scuderia
- Saleen S7
- '70 Buick GSX

 Is it me or does that S7 actually have a Wing???!!!!

I'm not really a collector, but I just couldn't resist getting these two when I was at the local Toys XL store with the ladies:

(both pictures clickable for large version)

'67 Shelby GT500

'70 Plymouth AAR Cuda

That '70 Plymouth AAR Cuda is beautiful!! I have that GT500 and guys, I bought 2 more cars....

Will tell you guys a bit later when I got my camera back :D ;)
