I've never saw those fast and furious cars at stores. Only ones I got were the dims charger and Brian's supra basics.

I haven't seen the new batch either, need the R34 with the metal wing.

Latest order from AmiAmi arrived today.

I may have to get the "Tokyo Nissan" Bluebird. It looks WAY cooler than I expected. 👍

Do you remember the Hino "Tokyu" bus that came up on backorder the other day? I just received notice from AmiAmi saying that they are having trouble locating it. Message said that they will try again for few more days, but may not be able to come through(I'd be shocked if they did).

First time they may let me down on a backorder, but how weird was that? That bus hadn't been available in months, if not years. Oh, well. If they don't come through, I already have one on the way from Plamoya, which was a weird transaction on its own: They went from $100 + shipping to $40, shipped.

First are some Fast and Furious cars.

Yes it's rad, well they both are. But the Nissan Service particularly. Do it. 👍 Sucks to hear about the Bus, if I recall that was the variation you were after the most? The one from Plamoya has Beige wheels that you weren't really fan of or something? Shame.

I need help here: I thought I was buying a duplicate to the Black Bandit Marauder I already had, but check out the wheels. They are different.



Were they different year release or something, or GL sometimes pull HW moves and use substitute wheels on cars? Shade of the tailight's different as well.

I just saw someone list it on TTP I think for around $20, but you are right. I just checked "sold" search on eBay, and you are doing good if you can get $10 for Skyline or Supra.

Beige bumper, but yeah, good memory. 👍 I still hope AmiAmi comes through, but for a over 50% off, I'm down with the beige.

Since that Tokyu bus is now a long shot, I was going to add your Bluebird to my August order, but it's already on backorder. For that reason, I decided to backorder your other Bluebird instead. I have two Super Silhouette Skylines headed my way, already have one Skyline + the "Coke" Bluebird. With your Autobacs & that Diet Coke one I still want, just like that, I'd have completed the Super Silhouette line up.

If AmiAmi do end up delivering the Tokyu bus, my bill would be pushing $150 before shipping, but it'll be a hefty bill I'll gladly pay.

The case with the green/gold Kenmeri finally landed here. Grabbed two, along with a very cool red Vette and finally the freaking Moon bug. Also, the Road Trippers or whatever it's called series is being sold by Wal Mart! A shame they're all friggin' ugly, altough I'll eventually grab a few IMSA Monzas for customizing. I also grabbed the Karate Kid 48 Ford, which I'm tempted to break open to fix the awful stance it has.

My new Walmart is still one series behind the latest one on the Retro Entertainment. I want that F&F Charger the most, but I'd likely get the Karate Kid Ford, too.

Also, that modern Challenger looks kickass. I usually don't like them but that one with the sharper edges looks real mean. 👍

The Challenger looks much nicer with the sharper edges. I remember the low-end Challengers having a more rounded look, and that just made it look chubby and unattractive for a muscle.

Actually, if the current-gen Challenger got a fraction of the bottom half chopped off, the slimmer body would create a much more aggressive look altogether.

Bought 2 ratty Hot Wheels today for $1 woo.

First up is a 🤬-tastic custom Cougar. Horrible casting, horrible condition.



Next is a hilariously out of proportion Porsche Carrera, I don't know the vintage (as in the Hot Wheels vintage).
Pretty shoddy condition, and as you can see in the last two pics, terrible axles.

Only cared for the Porsche to be honest. Curious, is it at all collectable or should I just mod the sucker?

I'd like to be able to get all the other Silhouettes but the Autobacs one will probably be the only one I'll ever get, the others are a little too rich for my blood. The Autobacs Bluebird is the best looking one of them all anyway.

The Cougar is horrible but is a great engine donor. The Porsche is an ex-Corgi casting, and that version you grabbed happens to be the Final Run edition. Altough in such condition, is practically worthless.

They change from time to time. Unless it's epic-crazy-mad popular, they seem to come back to "stock" or "backorder", at least once or twice.

I love that pic.

Autobacs is a really good deal. I also agree that others are crazy expensive. I started with one, then sort of got carried away. Before I knew it, I was just two Bluebird short of the whole series.

As far as I'm aware, no one can claim "inner Cano" except for the man himself. He's one of a kind. And not just "F", F minus. Jason really let us down with that one.

Glass case has bobble heads in it now. They fit better than small cars.
