I have that one in cat-vomit-green, though it didn't come with the For Sale sign.

I think I got like three of those, Diego. In different colors, of course. You can pretty much call it an obsession(or just boredom lol).

What kind of camera do you need to take close-up shots like this? Manual focus or something? My camera has autofocus and it takes some blurry pictures.

I have 6 regular falcons and 1 super. The regulars are bringing $3+ a pop at shows so I stocked up.
edit: i don't sell, just collect.

I use the iPhone 4S... a white sheet of paper (for the infinite background) and a lot of patience, since the autofocus rarely sharpens the whole car. For every good pic I upload there's about 10-15 rejects.

I also saw a green MB Evora, but I didn't get it since it was opened by some dumb kid and some bits of paint were chipped.

This. I've never been a collector of sorts... I mean, looking for rare limited stuff, completing the entire year's series of HW, buying the stupid convention specials because "they're collectible", that's all trash. If you get what you like and delve deeper into the hobby to stuff that you like (customizing, for example, or if you're like Wyvern, getting the most repeats you can, haha), you take the hobby several steps ahead of the people who just buy buy buy. It's stupid.

I like only the real life cars, but I'm not gonna lie, free bonus is still a nice gesture. 👍 The seller wouldn't accept PayPal, so I had to mail in a personal check, but it was reasonably priced, and service was prompt. All the sellers I've dealt with on the Toy Peddler has been money every time. 👍

I don't know over there, but in Mexico the red Alfa was incredibly difficult to find. It took me a couple months of actually going to stores looking for that exact car. Found two, never saw it again. White one was everywhere, though.

Someone in that discussion was saying that he had a red one, but wanted to get a white one. I did reply then, when I started looking around after you mentioned the Matchbox, there were bunch of white ones for sale, just few red ones.

Finally found a good deal on Toy Peddler for the red one. It had to be a red one for me.

Not far off. I recently opened like ten store purchases, but I'll be going tomorrow to a big flea market, so I'll take pics tomorrow, including everything from the last coiuple months. Yup, big post.

Went to Wal-Mart today for some food shopping, and checked the cars. Only found the ZL1 Camaro and finally found one of the BMW GT3's that had a good blister. Then found the new mystery cars so used my sense of touch to find one that was actually a regular car. Got home and opened it, and it was a Dodge Charger. (new style)

Pretty boring around here for Hotwheels shopping, as usual.
