I'm angry at you now because I wasn't angry before. Get mad. Get glad.
Now that you are really angry, that makes me really angry, too. You get glad!
The Jada Scion.👍!!
It's my #1 car for reason. Driver included.
Just googled some images of it, cool score! Got lucky with that one. 👍
I love that barnyard find & primer black stuff M2 do. I find them interesting & unique!

I got this in the mail today. I know @Daniel008 has two, I think maybe @GroupB also got one? I was shocked & amazed by how much cooler it was than in the stock photos. What did you guys think?

Easily my favorite GT-R by TLV, or anyone else in 1/64. Can't remember the last time I had a toy car I pulled out of the box like three times, because I couldn't get enough of it. Of any scale. So neat.

I wasn't aware that it was even possible for Canadians to get angry?
Excellent point. Could he be an impostor hoser who's actually an Eskimo? don't kill me Andy, you know I love you man!
The driver is the best part!
On my desert island, I'm not gonna be some nutjob mumbling to a volleyball. I will have 1/64 person to talk to. A plastic 1/64 person. :dopey:

Yeah, thankfully there wasn't any issues with the Family Truckster like there were with the other two. Would have been beyond annoyed if it had paint chips on it like the Airflyte trailer has. :indiff: That casting too really exceeded my expectations, GL did a great job with it. It's pretty damn perfect.

Quite, it's a darn good casting. It's a good thing that it came in one piece too, otherwise I'd tear you a new one with all the jokes about the Truckster betraying its expectations...

M2's I've only ever seen in a couple of places. GL's and the others you mentioned are completely non existent around these parts. :(

I only know one place that sells Greenlights, Auto Worlds and some M2s (the same place that sold me my Greenlight Hollywood Smokey & The Bandit 4-car set, ironically enough), but they haven't really updated their 1/64 stock on their webpage. Plus, it's not exactly close to home, so going there directly to check either of their two stores out takes a little too much effort as it stands... Johnny Lightnings? Those are a lot harder to come by, old and new castings alike. Maybe one day some company may bite and import them officially, but without previous background in Portgual, I doubt that JL will make a rousing entry in the scale model market here in the country...

Ken
I can't believe you killed your Arachnid.

I am more concerned that Shinji-san has put that pathetic Jada Scion above the hot rod toilet. You did that just to show pity for Scion's death, didn't you Shinji-san!? I am appalled, I thought you were a man of greater honour than that... How can anyone deny the hot rod toilet of its obvious greatness? Have you no shame? If you go to a deserted island, you will need a place to do the No.2 on a daily basis. What good does the Scion do if it doesn't feature a compartment to store human dejects and other assorted objects? Ok, so it's small, but it proves more uses than a dinky red Scion with a plastic dude on the driver's seat...

The death of a spider is a minor complaint compared to this atrocity. You still have time, Shinji-san, rethink your mistake while you can...

(Just in case someone comes in here and fails to see the meaning, I am only kidding with this last part. After all, the list is a joke as well...)

I've figured that now is the best time as any to talk about my history in collecting.

I've collected Hot Wheels ever since I was very young, and to this day, I've never gotten tired of it. Sure, maybe I need to grow up. But who cares? I love cars, racing, collecting, and weirdness in general for crying out loud. That's my lousy excuse.

I wouldn't want to put a number on how many I have, but it's around between 150 and 200 (Yes, fortunately I have money to waste). Most of them are from 2000-present, and many from 2010-up are unopened. I have to say... I've gotten really lucky so far. I mean, I guess it helps knowing what you want and what you don't. Because I think most people can agree, Mattel has made a gigantic amount of Hideous. Abominable. Atrocious. Eye-murdering. Original concept car- err, whatever they are, "things." But I have to say, this year, when of course not paying attention to those, this year is looking to be fantastic. But anyway, here are some helpful pieces of information that may help, from what I've learned...

Never, ever bother looking at Walmart. Today I went and found a wall of ew, um...
Let's just say I felt like vomiting afterwards. So yeah, Walmart's always been like that, thinking that the kiddies only care about those "things." Yeah... it's terrible.

Target is fantastic, they usually have a decent amount of actual models that I'm pretty sure, resemble cars, unlike Walmart's.

"Antique Shops" may actually surprise you.

The odds of finding a Super Treasure Hunt are insignificant. Okay, I did find one ONCE, but that was years ago. You would be better off just buying online, but with prices that bad, maybe not.

Beware other collectors. They come, and buy multiples of that one model you really wanted. BEWARE

Um, I guess that's about it for now. I'd like to upload pics, but I'd have to borrow a camera, so that may take a while.

Happy money spending! :indiff:

It won't fit, Hugo. It won't.
@a6m5 I think it may have been @MCNAGTROC that has the camo GT-R, could be wrong though.

Excellent desert island selection BTW. 👍
Thank you very much Nessy. 👍
Yeah I got the camo one in both 1/43 and 1/64

I got to sit in the actual car last week

I saw & "liked" your tweet! 👍 Your pics were the first photos of the car I had ever seen!

I did find the silver Outlaw Porsche at Target today, but it's been my experience that best place to score coveted hot wheels are Walmart stores. 👍
Looks like one of those Daihatsu convertible things. :dopey:

So, got my SSI check today and was excited to go see what I could find. I had forgotten all about checking out our "hole-in-the-wall" Kmart store since I started collecting so I decided to go and check them out. I knew going in that they weren't going to have any of the higher end 1/64 which is my main focus (Greenlight, Johnny Lightning, etc.) so I was just intent on looking to see what cool Hot Wheels I could come up with. They didn't have a big selection, but what they did have was pretty good in my opinion and am pretty happy with what I was able to find. My favorite out of the bunch is by far the Porsche Carrera GT done in Matte Black. Here is my haul.

You need to believe in that! There are no portaloos on an island! (Unless you ended up on a deserted island run by Dr. No or something along those lines) :irked:

Those would be known as the Copen, Shinji-san. :sly:  A rather deformed and clumsy-looking Copen, in this particular case, since it looks like it's melting with each passing minute...

Tarmac Works
We have confirmed plans to develop a new line of 1:64 scale high quality model cars with the first model target to release in July of this year. The first wave will include 2 models that includes one Japanese car and one European car.

The development in 1:64 scale is a result of our continued focus in the Asian model car market in which the 64 scale has become increasingly popular.

Which models do you most want to see us produce? Tell us about it here!

#64scale

You can submit your requests on their facebook page. This is a good opportunity to get them to make a casting no one else has

I just got back from Meijer myself... they didn't have any current cars, but they did have a couple current packages.... SMH.

whoever did it did a good job... only the bottom edge of the GL pacakge has been sliced off, but seemed still sealed, the other only the bottom edge has been loosened almost as if it COULD have happened in shipping...

kinda odd too that its a pair of JL funnycars... neither of witch I'd seen before either

Who.... are they?
A couple of finds from today. (Traveled about 2 hours to northern Maine just to look)

I would assume the GTO isn't a new release.... For some reason it was on the JL peg at TRU.
How's your GT-R? Mine was scuffed & taillight paint/tamp thing seemed little offset.
whats the brand of that black 2015 GTR?
Maybe I just got a bad one, but mine's pretty rough looking.
