My purchases from yesterday, plus a couple more AWs that I had sitting around, but never shared until now.

Best one is still 2013's Retro Entertainment. The red is rich, the grills and vents are coloured black. The interior is leather-coloured, and tampos covered the emblems, text and lights, and lastly, Wheels are GORRRRGEOUS
I can't remember if I have that one or not. I did buy the Vanagon & chopper for sure, as I'm fan of the show. I had couple of "Garage" series 308, they looked awfully close to the Magnum P.I. one, so I may have skipped it.
Which now means the rest of these are up for sale if anyone wants one:
I kinda wish I was in market for them, but right now, the new shift for my collection is "downsize". Beautiful Kyoshos though. 👍

Not Downsize Quantity + Upscale Quality? The former saves you space, the latter keeps you returning.
More of shift in the direction involving different cars & brands. Definitely still interested in Kyoshos, but I've been refraining bit from spendy purchases. Outside amiami that is. Or rare TLVs. :P

I haven't installed the fog lights, but I suppose I should.

Wouldn't worry about it, looks perfectly fine without them. And I completely forgot that you ordered that one. Very cool. 👍

Someone consigned these Dropstars Hotwheels in the store:

They're bigger than 1:55 Jadas, though. But still, it's a relief that someone is willing to let go ALL of his Dropstars since he is to migrate soon.

Didn't I mention that what you see is the first batch?

Thanks! It looks unique with the lights on though. We'll see. :D

I've seen them online, but yeah, too big.

"Chaparral Camaro"? I know my knowledge of old HW castings is far from good, but is that a real-life car or something Mattel did for fun and games?

Also, hey it's the Spirit of 'Murica Panoz, really nice. Can't get much more 'Murican than that with a LMP car...

Sure was, driven by Jim Hall back in the trans am series of the 70's.

Hey, that's pretty nifty! Not to mention very cool. Jim really had close ties to Chevrolet from the get go, didn't he? Although I bet if that car was a slightly younger Trans Am car (ergo, a 1980's one), he'd make it look like the bastard child of the Batmobile and a 3rd-gen Camaro...

He was. It was sort of like an "unofficial" chevy factory team. Fun fact, they only built 3 of them and the one in the picture above is the only one known to exist.

A one-of-a-kind car now, huh...? Well, I bet that has lent the HW casting some value over the years. Or at least some exclusivity...

If i recall one of them was absolutely destroyed in a crash at either Riverside or Laguna seca... and there's rumors that the other car was converted into an IMSA GTO series car and would never be recognized again

I did not know that, that's pretty cool to hear.

Downsize Andy, not necessarily diversify!

But you said brands, ya pimple.

Pick these guys up today from a local classic toy store.

Damn aren't you lucky for not being in the GTA. $8 ain't much to ask for a Road Racers.

So apparently TLV Lancia Deltas are in the future...

I loosely read this and thought "TLV Lancia "Back to the Future" Delta".

I want to like this more than once.

I've liked the post in place for you. *high five*

Personally, I am disappointed by this news. Delta Integrale's very popular in Japan, I adore it too. In that sense, I can see why TLV chose to do this car. Having said that, CM's has done such a fine job with this casting, I wish TLV made another "dream" 1/64 casting come true instead of Delta. For me, there's like a hundred.

I'm sure most of you have seen the CM's version, but for those who do not recall:

It's just one collector's opinion, but as fine as Tomica Limited Vintage(NEO) line are, I doubt the quality will surpass that of CM's version, if at all. I understand, it is what it is. *shrug*

Well, nothing wrong with thinking that, really. Yes, CM's models are incredibly detailed, but they're no longer for sale. Perhaps TLV is counting on novelty value to get their own Delta castings out and make some quick profit in the process. People who can't find a CM's Delta can now afford a newer casting, even if its quality may pale in comparison with the former. And if there are plenty of Delta castings in Japan, perhaps there is a large Japanese fanbase behind it, no?

Either way, let's look at it from a brighter perspective; now that Tomica has completed their Delta casting, they can focus on new Italian and/or other European countries castings for the future!

You are absolutely correct. I totally understood that, but let me explain why I didn't bother explaining that side of it: I never saw availability issue with CM's Delta, even here in the U.S. When I say U.S., I of course mean eBay, but this applies to TLVs also anyway.

Again, my post was just my personal feeling with TLV spending R&D and all that on a casting another company has already accomplished at the level of TLV, or better. Absolutely not a thing wrong with what's happening, just sharing one collector's frustration with it. ;)

Edit: Ended up doing a whole post on my blog. I couldn't believe it when I saw that I hadn't done a post on this car yet. One of my favorite castings! :ouch: Thank you @GroupB for the heads up. 👍
