1/64 Model Collectors Thread

Some of CM's castings I'm not too impressed with, otherwise I'd be all over the series, as per my username. The BX 4TC is the one that made me write them off.

They didn't have the consistency of TLV releases, but I think TLV is in the class of its own in that department. One thing I'm looking forward to is the side-by-side comparison of TLV versus CM's. Again, I'd be surprised if TLV come up with a notable advantage over the CM's. CM's Delta wheels did suck, but many TLV wheels have also sucked hard lately.

It's no TLV, but for $6 car or whatever at the time, I think it looks decent? Don't get me wrong, I have their Lancer Evo I can't bear looking at.

Ah, OK. I saw that it was missing clear & amber, but I see it now. That is a big one to miss.

Just ordered this Kyosho Porsche 944 on ebay, gonna be a while since it's coming from Japan. Looking to start collecting 1/64 cars other than Hot Wheels and Matchboxes.

Aww, if I knew those were coming, I would have held off on ordering that white uncover R34 sedan and just gone for the white civilian one instead. Oh well.

1-2 weeks ain't going to be bad. I had a tube of polishing compound that was expected in a month's time and showed up by the second aka yesterday.

With Tomytec posting pics of the TLV version of the Delta on their site, I posted a poor man's version of the comparison on the blog.

If you want a clean set of photos for your list when the time comes, I can provide them to you. To be honest though, @Spacegoat usually beats me by two weeks getting amiami shipments.
